I am a teacher-librarian.

Essay

teachers of the fundamentals of Orthodox culture

Ananova Irina Viktorovna.

“The soul must work,” said the poet.

And there is probably no island better than a library.

So that horizons and dreams open up

Me and You come here.

Since childhood, I wanted to see and experience everything that a person can see and experience. This, of course, did not happen. On the contrary, it seems to me that life was uneventful and went by too quickly.

But it seems so until you start to remember. One memory pulls out another, then a third, a fourth. An unbroken chain of memories arises.

I want to bring my current state of mind closer to the freshness of thoughts and feelings that characterized the days of my youth.

For me, youth exists as a judge of my current thoughts and deeds.

With age, they say, comes experience. It consists, obviously, in not allowing everything valuable that has accumulated over the past time to fade and dry up.

I won't talk in detail about my life. She was different. A happy, carefree childhood in the parental home and the bitterness of defeat upon admission to KSMI. The joy of getting a job in the city children's library, which became my home for 19 years. Happiness from entering the Kuban Institute of Culture. Busy student life. First love and happy marriage. The birth of a long-awaited daughter. Getting started in the school library. From the first day of my stay in the library, I realized two things: first, I was not mistaken in choosing a profession, and second, school became my home. Today I cannot imagine my life without a noisy gang of girls and boys. Together with them, day after day, we climb to the top of knowledge, and I am happy, realizing that in the pursuit of knowledge they do not become crammers and bores, but develop as Personalities.

The modernization of the modern school, new approaches to the construction of education required appropriate information and library support, both the process of innovative transformations itself, and constant library support for the teaching, educational and self-educational activities of teachers and schoolchildren. As a result, the influence of libraries in the educational system began to be considered as one of the main components of personality, a pedagogical component.

In our school, the library is a center of information, knowledge and leisure, and the librarian is considered as a teacher and his activities include two components: traditional library andinnovative pedagogical. After all, a school librarian is not just a librarian, first of all he is an educator, a healer of children's souls. In the dictionary of library terms, reading guidance is defined as follows: “... purposeful pedagogical influence on the content and nature of reading, on the choice of literature and the assimilation of what is read using various forms and methods of library activity.” Analyzing my work, I see the one-sidedness of this formulation. Final result

library activities do not at all influence the content and nature of reading, the choice of literature and the assimilation of what is read, and becoming, development of a holistic, harmonious personality of the child: nurturing the need for reading, literary taste, personal perception of the work. For me, it is important not only to recognize that a child is capable, has the opportunity to read, understand, evaluate a book in his own way, and much more. It is important to expect further fruitful development of the young reader as an individual capable of creative activity.

The pedagogical component was the educational function of the school library, including traditional directions - patriotic, aesthetic, environmental. It was in the work of the library that the sprouts of SPIRITUAL AND MORAL education appeared.

In 2000, for the 200th anniversary of the first edition of “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign,” we, together with the guys from the “Book and Theater” library club, which I created in 1997, prepared a theatrical performance “The Tree of Life.” The guys sewed their own costumes and prepared the scenery. This work captivated not only the participants in the performance, but also the most “inveterate hooligans.” The boys ran to the library to make helmets for the main characters, cut out real shields, and then paint them like Prince Igor himself. And when the swords were made, there were military battles. But we had no casualties. After all, nothing brings people together like joint creativity. 17 years have passed since the appearance of our school theater. Its participants change, but “KiT” lives and delights viewers with its creativity. With the help of the “whales” the play “The Snow Queen” was staged based on the fairy tale by H.H. Andersen. The theme of fidelity, responsibility, love and friendship runs through the entire performance. The light of the Christmas star guides Gerda through all the trials to the Snow Queen's castle and helps her return to her father's house. In 2011, the children were attracted by the problem of relationships between people and modern problems of ecology and the future of our Planet. The script of the Moscow schoolgirl L. Shilova “The Adventures of the Little Fool - Nyurochka” helped my “kids” not only understand this problem themselves, but also tell the young spectators of our school about it.

It is impossible to educate a highly moral person without developing his spiritual and aesthetic needs. Therefore, all library events are aimed at creating an atmosphere of warmth, mutual trust and revelation. Complex and responsible work on spiritual and moral education can give positive results only when there is mutual contact between the teacher and the librarian. Collaborative work at our school began with extracurricular reading lessons. And the effect of the lesson increases many times over if the biography of the poet is told by the librarian, and the children read poetry to the music. This is how we taught lessons on the works of A. Akhmatova, B. Pasternak, M. Tsvetaeva. The guys themselves selected music for the poems, looked for little-known material about

lives of poets. The reading room turned into a literary living room, and the guests at our evenings were always parents. After all, without the support of parents, it is difficult to get the issues of guiding children’s reading and spiritual and moral education off the ground. Only by combining the efforts of teachers, librarians, parents and, of course, the children themselves, we were able to approach the deeper aspects of this problem and maintain mutual interest in the national and world cultural and spiritual heritage.

Orthodox culture is an invaluable part of our natural and cultural heritage, a living source, without which Russia does not and cannot have a future. In 2005, a group of like-minded teachers appeared in the Krasnodar region, ready to introduce the younger generation to the diverse, rich and at the same time strict, morally uplifting world of religious spirituality. This is exactly what the course “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture” is dedicated to, introduced into the study programs for schoolchildren of Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Secondary School No. 2 in Goryachy Klyuch. I, the head of the school library, was offered to take advanced training courses at the Kuban State University and obtain qualifications as a teacher of the course “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture,” since in our school work on spiritual and moral education was already actively carried out in the library. In my opinion, introducing children to Orthodox culture is a necessary condition for instilling in them mercy, philanthropy and a sense of beauty.. Orthodoxy is an inexhaustible source of spirituality. From meetings with the teacher, children expect kindness and understanding, respect and justice, knowledge of themselves and others, the world around them, themselves in this world; Children often need kind, wise advice from an adult who they can trust with their problems. It is in such contact between the teacher and the children that the education and development of a person is carried out. The teacher's story should excite the child's soul. It is important that a dialogue arises between the teacher and the children, and it is necessary to help each child to speak out. Such communication occurs in defense education classes and library lessons when using the technology for developing critical thinking through reading and writing (RCMP). I use this form of work for different age groups. We are conducting a lesson-discussion with fifth-graders on the fairy tale “Angel” by H.H. Andersen. The lesson helps children develop a Christian attitude towards their neighbors. Evokes feelings of love and compassion. A. Platonov’s story “The Multi-Colored Butterfly” about the power of maternal love and responsibility for one’s actions arouses equal interest among both high school students and younger teenagers. During the discussion, the guys build a Tree of Predictions (they model further events), and they come up with the idea of forgiveness and atonement. We discussed this story with parents at a parent-teacher meeting and with librarians at a city seminar.

It is known that the works of the holy fathers represent a treasury of pedagogical art. The fathers and teachers of the Church left us many invaluable thoughts and ideas, tested in practice by more than a thousand years of experience. One of the true luminaries of church pedagogy was John Chrysostom, the greatest preacher and theologian of his time. He believed that even before starting to study, it is necessary to lay the foundation of “good morals.” The unity of education and training in the pedagogical concept of John Chrysostom is achieved through the lessons of philosophy. The concept of “philosophy” runs as a leitmotif through his creations. According to the saint, the first leader who plants the germs of wisdom in a child is the mother. Later, when the child grew up, wisdom needed not only parents, but also mentors and educators. Thus, philosophy in John Chrysostom is a Christian life, all facets of which - spiritual, moral, intellectual, aesthetic, practical - are in close relationship with each other. And their harmony, in turn, is achieved as a result of the unity of education and training. I took this education system as a basis in my work. Many people remember the children's rhyme: “On the golden porch sat the king, the prince, the king, the prince...Who will you be?” And really, who will you be? What will our next generation be like? Spiritless, callous people with sick souls and poor physical health? Or will it be a generation of highly moral people with excellent health who will make our Russia a strong, rich, cultural country? Concern and pain for our future prompted like-minded teachers to create the “Flower-Seven-Flower” program at MBOU Secondary School No. 2. The goal of the program was in-depth spiritual and moral education in our school. What is spiritual and moral education? This is help in a person’s acquisition of CONSCIENCE, RESPONSIBILITY, HOPE, FAITH, LOVE, HEALTH, CREATIVITY. These are 7 petals, each of which symbolized a certain direction of joint work. The subject “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture” unites all directions. This is a joint work of primary school teachers (Maiseenkova T.A. - club “Seedlings”, Ratushnaya A.B., Pankova N.A. - project “CARUSEL”), middle-level teachers (Skorobogatko N.A., Petryakova E.N. ), high school (Deykina O.A., Stetsyuk M.S.), music teacher (Anisimova L.M.), club "KiT" (Ananova I.V.), technology teacher (Galanter L.I.), teachers of life safety and physical education, librarians, teachers of defense and educational complex and ORKSE (Ananova I. V., Ratushnaya A.B.). A city seminar on the topic “Organization of spiritual and moral education of school students” was held within the school’s walls. The teachers who participated in the project showed their colleagues from other schools in the city various forms of working with children. It was a meeting of the Seedlings club in 3rd grade

Librarian's leave For librarians of educational institutions, the duration of leave can be increased by providing them with additional leave for irregular working hours, if these workers are involved in work beyond the normal working hours. Teaching work Library workers can, for additional payment, perform teaching work in the same educational institution (that is, teach classes in academic subjects under the conditions established for teachers).
