It was sad to read the opinions of people whom I considered “friends” on LJ about the terrible censorship in Tartary, those people who themselves were not part of the commonwealth. This is a manifestation of the highest disrespect for the reader. No need to break it into parts, but make one, but capacious”... It was unpleasant to get hit on the head with a pointer, but... the result is the second most readable article on website. More than 16 thousand views! On my own behalf, I will say that when the idea for my website was mentioned in Lorenz’s magazine, I immediately said “no” to the project. You expressed this idea very precisely: Tartaria is the authors themselves, and not some kind of superstructure over the authors, like the same Comte, the current Sedition, etc. Nobody owes anyone anything, we are all adults, different from small capricious children in that we make our own choices. You can post as many posts as you like in a cozy burner (and this is not bad at all), being proud of your “240” received comments, you can hide your thoughts from the whole wide world under virtual locks, you can, on the contrary, rip your throat out, but what are we all doing here? In the morning, three priests went to the mountains. The rest waited below, mostly spending their time looking at the people under the dome and traveling along it - back and forth. Three days passed, but the Priests did not return. This is exactly how much time was allocated to the priests for in-depth meditation. On the fourth day, a detachment of Catharus set out in search of their elders. No one was found that day. Then all the other Catharus joined the reconnaissance detachment. And by the evening of the next day something unexpected happened. In the mountains, in one of the gorges, a village of wild people was discovered. Simple dwellings made from plant branches served as a refuge for these people. The savages were warlike, armed with bows and spears. The Catharuses were also not warned about their existence! How could this happen? The Catharus have not yet had an answer...

Help arrived just in time for Yano Velez and his two friends. The Catharus had to resort to telepathy in order to negotiate with the leaders of the wild people to hand over captives, whom the strange aborigines were ready to... eat. Damis Quano, one of the Catharus elders who negotiated with the tribal leaders, was in no hurry to leave his new acquaintances after the operation to rescue his comrades was completed. He remained sitting by the fire with five savage leaders. Demis really wanted to know: how long has the tribe lived on this mountainous land? Do people remember their ancestors? The first edition of the Encyclopædia Britannica of 1771 makes no mention of the Russian Empire. It says that the largest country in the world, occupying almost all of Eurasia, is Great Tartary.

And the Principality of Moscow, where by this time the Romanovs had already been put in charge, is only one of the provinces of this huge empire and is called Moscow Tartary. There are also maps of Europe and Asia on which all this is clearly visible.

And in the next edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica all this information is completely missing.

What happened at the end of the 18th century? Where has the greatest empire of our world gone? The empire has not disappeared anywhere. All mentions of her began to quickly disappear!

Many people cannot imagine that history, historical documents, chronicles and maps can be distorted to such an extent that the written history itself turns out to be incredibly far from what actually happened. When combined with another favorite method of falsification, suppression, the altered story becomes reality.

If we take into account that in the Middle Ages the number of educated people was generally small, and there were even fewer historians among them, then... Stop, but back in Europe there was the dictate of the church, the overwhelming majority of scientific research was either carried out by religious figures themselves or were under their control strict control.

In addition, various church orders were active. Maltese, Jesuit, Dominican... The strictest discipline, unquestioning execution of orders from superiors. Disobedience sometimes resulted in connection with Heaven through the flame of a fire, so it was unlikely that the monastic scribes could deviate from the letter of the order. These maps are made very carefully. The outlines of continents, rivers, seas, lakes, etc. are carefully depicted. Many city names are included. The authors of the Encyclopedia Britannica are well aware, for example, of the geography of South America.

If, as we are assured today, only “wild American Indians” lived here, it is unlikely that these vast and rich territories would have remained completely unknown to European cartographers EVEN AT THE END OF THE 18TH CENTURY. Could the Indians have prevented European ships from sailing along the northwest coast of America to understand the outlines of the great continent? Hardly. Most likely, a fairly strong state was still located here, a fragment of the huge Rus'-Horde. Which, like, by the way, Japan at that time, simply did not allow Europeans into its territory, and into its territorial waters and seas.

The “Geography” section in the 1771 Encyclopedia Britannica ends with a table listing all the countries known to its authors, indicating the area of ​​these countries, capitals, distances from London, and the time difference compared to London, volume 2, pp. 682-684. See Fig.9.6(0), Fig.9.6 and Fig.9.7.

It is very curious and unexpected that the Russian Empire of that time is considered by the authors of the Encyclopedia Britannica, judging by this table, AS SEVERAL DIFFERENT COUNTRIES. Namely, Russia with its capital in St. Petersburg and an area of ​​1,103,485 square miles. Then - MOSCOW TARTARY with its capital in TOBOLSK and three times larger area, 3,050,000 square miles, volume 2, p. 683. See Figure 9.8.

MOSCOW TARTARY is the largest country in the world, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica. All other countries are at least three times smaller than it. In addition, INDEPENDENT TARTARY with its capital in SAMARKAND is indicated, volume 2, p. 683. Chinese Tartary with its capital in Chinuan was also named. Their areas are 778,290 and 644,000 square miles, respectively.

The question arises: what could this mean? Doesn't this mean that before the defeat of Pugachev in 1775, all of Siberia was a state independent of the Romanovs? Or even there were several states here. The largest of which - MOSCOW Tartaria - had its capital in Siberian TOBOLSK. But then the famous war with Pugachev was by no means the suppression of an allegedly spontaneous “peasant uprising,” as they explain to us today. It turns out that this was a real war between the Romanovs and the last independent fragments of Rus'-Horde in the east of the Empire. ONLY AFTER WON THE WAR WITH PUGACHEV, THE ROMANOVS GOT ACCESS TO SIBERIA FOR THE FIRST TIME. Which was previously naturally closed to them. The Horde didn't let them in.

By the way, only after this did the Romanovs begin to “place” on the map of Russia the names of countries famous in old Russian history - the provinces of the Great = “Mongol” Empire. (Details are in the book “Biblical Rus'”). For example, names such as Perm and Vyatka. In fact, medieval Perm is Germany, and medieval Vyatka is Italy (hence the Vatican). These names of the old provinces of the Empire were present on the medieval Russian coat of arms. But after the split of the Empire, the Romanovs began to distort and rewrite the history of Rus'. In particular, it was necessary to move these names from Western Europe somewhere further away, into the wilderness. Which is what was done. But only after the victory over Pugachev. And quite quickly.

The book “Biblical Rus'”, vol. 1, p. 540 states that the Romanovs began to change the coats of arms of Russian cities and regions only in the second half of the 18th century. Mostly in 1781. As we are now beginning to understand, six years after the victory over Pugachev, the last independent Horde king (or military leader of the king) of Moscow Tartaria with its capital in Siberian Tobolsk.

MOSCOW TARTARIA

Above we talked about the striking at first glance statement of the Encyclopedia Britannica of 1771 that almost all of Siberia formed at that time, that is, at the end of the 18th century! - an independent state with its capital in Tobolsk, volume 2, pp. 682-684. See Fig.9.6, Fig.9.7.

At the same time, MOSCOW TARTARY, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica of 1771, WAS THE BIGGEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. See above. This is depicted on many maps of the 18th century. See, for example, one of these maps in Fig. 9.9, Fig. 9.10, Fig. 9.11. We see that Moscow Tartary began from the middle reaches of the Volga, from Nizhny Novgorod. Thus, Moscow was very close to the border with Moscow Tartary. The capital of Moscow Tartary is the city of Tobolsk, the name of which is underlined on this map and shown in TOBOL form. That is, just like in the Bible. Let us recall that in the Bible Rus' is named ROSH MESHECH and TUBAL, that is, Ros, Moscow and Tobol. (See details in the book “Biblical Rus'”).

The question arises: where did this huge state go? One has only to ask this question, and facts immediately begin to emerge and be interpreted in a new way, showing that until the end of the 18th century, a gigantic state existed on the territory of Eurasia. Since the 19th century, he has been excluded from world history. They pretended it never existed. As evidenced by maps of the 18th century, until this era, Moscow Tartaria was practically inaccessible to Europeans.

But at the end of the 18th century the situation changed dramatically. A study of geographical maps of that time clearly shows that a stormy conquest of these lands began. It came from both sides at once. The Romanov troops entered Russian-Horde Siberia and the Far East for the first time. And the troops of the newly emerged United States entered the Russian-Horde western half of the North American continent, stretching all the way to California to the south, and to the middle of the continent to the east. On the world maps compiled at this time in Europe, a huge “blank spot” finally disappeared. And on maps of Siberia they stopped writing in large letters “Great Tartary” or “Moscow Tartary”.

What happened at the end of the 18th century? After all that we have learned about the history of Rus'-Horde, the answer is apparently clear. AT THE END OF THE 18TH CENTURY THE LAST BATTLE BETWEEN EUROPE AND THE HORDE TAKES PLACE. The Romanovs are on the side of Europe. This immediately makes us look at the so-called “peasant-Cossack uprising of Pugachev” of 1773-1775 with completely different eyes.

THE WAR OF THE ROMANOVS WITH “PUGACHEV” IS A WAR WITH THE HUGE MOSCOW TARTARIA

Apparently, the famous war with Pugachev of 1773-1775 was by no means the suppression of the “peasant-Cossack uprising,” as they explain to us today. This was a real major war between the Romanovs and the last independent Russian-Horde Cossack state - Moscow Tartary. The capital of which, as the Encyclopedia Britannica of 1771 tells us, was the Siberian city of Tobolsk. Let us note that this Encyclopedia was published, fortunately, before the war with Pugachev. True, in just two years. If the publishers of the Encyclopedia Britannica had delayed its publication by even two or three years, it would have been much more difficult to restore the truth today.

It turns out that ONLY HAVING WON THE WAR WITH PUGACHEV—that is, as we now understand, with Tobolsk (aka the famous biblical Tubal or Tubal)—THE ROMANOVS GOT ACCESS TO SIBERIA FOR THE FIRST TIME. Which was previously naturally closed to them. The Horde simply did not let them there. And only after this did the Americans gain access to the western half of the North American continent for the FIRST TIME. And they quickly began to capture her. But the Romanovs apparently weren’t dozing either. At first, they managed to “grab” Alaska, directly adjacent to Siberia. But in the end they couldn’t keep her. I had to give it to the Americans. For a very nominal fee. Very. Apparently, the Romanovs simply could not really control the vast territories beyond the Bering Strait from St. Petersburg. It must be assumed that the Russian population of North America was very hostile to the power of the Romanovs. Like the conquerors who came from the West and seized power in their state, in Moscow Tartary.

This is how the division of Moscow Tartary ended already in the 19th century. It is amazing that this “feast of the victors” was completely erased from the pages of history books. More precisely, I never got there. Although very clear traces of this have been preserved. We will talk about them below.

By the way, the British Encyclopedia reports that in the 18th century there was another “Tatar” state - Independent Tartary with its capital in Samarkand, volume 2, pp. 682-684. As we now understand, this was another huge “splinter” of Great Rus'-Horde of the XIV-XVI centuries. Unlike Moscow Tartary, the fate of this state is known. It was conquered by the Romanovs in the mid-19th century. This is the so-called “conquest of Central Asia.” This is how it is evasively called in modern textbooks. The very name of Independent Tartary disappeared from the maps forever. It is still called the conventional, meaningless name “Central Asia”. The capital of Independent Tartaria - Samarkand was taken by Romanov troops in 1868, part 3, p. 309. The entire war lasted four years: 1864-1868.

Let's go back to the era of the 18th century. Let's see how North America and Siberia were depicted on maps of the 18th century before Pugachev. That is, earlier than 1773-1775. It turns out that the western part of the North American continent is NOT PICTURED AT ALL on these maps. European cartographers of that time SIMPLY DID NOT KNOW WHAT the western half of the North American continent looked like. They didn’t even know whether it connected with Siberia, or whether there was a strait there. Moreover, it is very strange that the American government “for some reason” did not show any interest in these neighboring lands. Although at the turn of the 18th-19th centuries this interest suddenly appeared out of nowhere. And it was very stormy. Is it because these lands suddenly became “nobody’s”? And it was necessary to hurry up in order to capture them before the Romanovs. Who did the same from the West.

BEFORE THE DEFEAT OF “PUGACHEV,” EUROPEANS DIDN’T KNOW THE GEOGRAPHY OF THE WEST AND NORTHWEST OF THE AMERICAN CONTINENT. THE GIANT “WHITE SPOT” AND THE CALIFORNIA PENINSULA AS AN “ISLAND”

Let's look at the maps of North America. Let's start with a map from the Encyclopaedia Britannica of 1771, which took into account the latest achievements of geographical science of that time. That is, we repeat, the very end of the 18th century. But - BEFORE PUGACHEV. The full map is shown above in Fig. 9.4. In Fig. 9.12 we show an enlarged fragment of it. We see that the entire northwestern part of the North American continent, not only Alaska, is a huge “white spot” opening into the ocean. Not even the coastline is marked! Consequently, until 1771, no European ship passed along these coasts. One such passage would be enough to carry out at least a rough mapping survey. And after this we are told that Russian Alaska, located in this part of North America, was at that time allegedly subjugated by the Romanovs. If this were so, then the coastline would certainly be depicted on European maps. Instead, we see here curious words written by European cartographers on the American "white spot": Parts Undiscovered. See Figure 9.12.

Let's take a slightly earlier English map, dating from 1720 or later, compiled in London, pp. 170-171. See Figure 9.13. Here, too, a significant part of the North American continent is a “white spot”. On which it is written: “Unknown lands” (Parts Unkown). It's worth noting that this 18th-century map depicts the California Peninsula AS AN ISLAND! That is, as we see, European ships were not allowed here by the Horde even at the beginning of the 18th century. Until Pugachev!

We see the same thing on the French map of 1688. See Figure 9.14. Here the California Peninsula is also shown as an ISLAND! That is also wrong. What does this mean? A simple thing: the line of the west coast of North America is still UNKNOWN to Europeans. They are not allowed here. Therefore, they do not know that the California peninsula a little further north will connect with the mainland.

Another card. See Fig.9.15, Fig.9.15(a). This is a French map dating from 1656 or later, pp. 152,153. We see the same picture. The California Peninsula is drawn as an ISLAND. It is not right. In the north-west of America there is a continuous “white spot”. Let's move on. Figure 9.16 and Figure 9.16(a) show a French map from 1634. Once again we see the American Northwest sinking into a white spot, with the California Peninsula again incorrectly depicted as an ISLAND.

And so on. There are A LOT of similar maps from the 17th-18th centuries. We cannot give even a small part of them here. The conclusion is this. Before the war with Pugachev in 1773-1775, that is, until the end of the 18th century, the western part of the North American continent belonged to Moscow Tartary with its capital in Tobolsk. Europeans were not allowed here. This circumstance was clearly reflected on the maps of that time. Cartographers painted here a “white spot” and a fantastic “island” of California. Of which they more or less represented only the southernmost part. By the way, the name “California” itself is quite significant. Apparently at that time it simply meant “Land of CALIF.” According to historical reconstruction, the first Russian-Horde CALIF was the great conqueror Khan Batu, known to us today also under the name Ivan “Kalita”. He was one of the founders of the Great = "Mongol" Empire.

In this regard, let us remember that medieval Japan, which at that time was apparently another fragment of the Great = “Mongol” Empire, behaved similarly. Japan also did not allow foreigners into Japan until the 1860s. This was probably a reflection of some general policy of local rulers. The Tsar-Khans of these Horde-“Mongol” states were hostile to the Europeans, as enemies of the former Great Empire, of which they still felt themselves a part. Apparently, there was a close connection between Japan and Moscow Tartary until the end of the 18th century, and Japan “closed itself” only after the defeat of Moscow Tartary in 1773-1775, that is, after the defeat of Pugachev.

It was only at the end of the 19th century that foreign Europeans (the Dutch) entered Japan by force. As we see, only at this time the wave of the “progressive liberation process” reached here.

Let's return to the maps of America, but this time to maps supposedly from the 15th-16th centuries. Let's see how European cartographers allegedly depicted North America in the 16th century. Probably much worse than the cartographers of the 17th-18th centuries. Presumably, now we will see very scanty data not only about the North American continent, but about America in general. It turns out not! Today we are asked to believe that European cartographers supposedly in the 16th century imagined North America MUCH MORE ACCURATELY than the cartographers of the 17th-18th centuries. Moreover, this amazing knowledge does not manifest itself in some little-known and forgotten maps. “Ahead” of their time by many decades, and then undeservedly “forgotten”.

Not at all. North America is beautifully depicted on the famous supposedly 16th century maps of Abraham Ortelius, as well as Gerhard Mercator. Which, as historians assure us, were widely known in both the 17th and 18th centuries. We show these famous maps in Fig. 9.17, Fig. 9.17(a) and Fig. 9.18, Fig. 9.18(a). As we can see, these supposedly 16th century maps are MUCH BETTER AND MORE ACCURATE than the 18th century maps. They're even better than the 1771 Encyclopædia Britannica map!

Did the authors of the Encyclopedia Britannica at the end of the 18th century “fall into ignorance” after such brilliant maps of the supposedly 16th century? Please note that both Ortelius and Mercator absolutely CORRECTLY depict the California Peninsula as a PENINSULA. We see the same thing on the Hondius map supposedly from 1606. California is shown as a peninsula. See Fig.9.19 and Fig.9.19(a). Allegedly, at the very beginning of the 17th century, Hondius was already well versed in the true geography of America. He has no doubt that California is a peninsula. He confidently draws the Bering Strait. Along the entire WEST Coast of North America, he knows many city and place names. There are no “unknown lands” here for him. He knows everything! And this supposedly happens in 1606.

They want to assure us that in a hundred years, European cartographers of the 17th-18th centuries WILL COMPLETELY FORGET all this information. And they will, for example, WRONGLY consider California an ISLAND! Isn't this strange?

Further, Ortelius and Mercator, and Hondius and many other cartographers, supposedly from the 16th - early 17th centuries, already know that AMERICA IS SEPARATED FROM ASIA BY A STRAIT. And historians tell us that later cartographers of the 17th-18th centuries will “forget” all this. And only then will they finally “re-open” this strait. Like many other things on the map of North America.

So, the picture is completely clear. All these brilliant maps supposedly from the 16th century are forgeries from the 19th century. They were made in an era when volumes of the Encyclopedia Britannica had long been on the shelves of European libraries. Some things on the maps were drawn to resemble antiquity. But in general, the outlines of the continents and many other important details were copied from the 19th century maps at hand. They drew it, of course, gorgeously and richly. To be worthy of the “ancients”. And so that it costs more. After all, “ancient authentic maps.” Finally discovered in the dusty archives of Europe.

Let's now look at a map of Siberia in the 18th century. We have already shown one of these maps in Fig. 9.20. On this map, all of Siberia beyond the Ural ridge is called Great Tartary. Now it becomes clear what this means. It means exactly what it says. Namely, that at that time there was still a Russian-Horde state here under that name. Next, we present another map of the 18th century. See Fig.9.21(a), Fig.9.21(b), Fig.9.22. It was published in 1786 in Germany, in Nuremberg. On it, the inscription Russia (Russland) is carefully bent so that in no case does it climb over the Ural ridge. Although it could well have been drawn and straighter. What would be more natural if Siberia in the 18th century belonged to the Romanovs. And all of Siberia is divided on the map into two large states. The first is called the “State of Tobolsk” (Gouvernement Tobolsk). THIS NAME IS WRITTEN ALL OVER WESTERN SIBERIA. The second state is called the “State of Irkutsk” (Gouvernement Irkutzk). THIS INSCRIPTION GOES ALL OVER EASTERN SIBERIA AND FURTHER NORTH TO SAKHALIN ISLAND.

As the author, putting aside false modesty, I consider it acceptable to introduce the term “ Tartar studies" Well, why not? After all, there are Oriental studies, American studies and even Moscow studies, which are now separated into a separate academic discipline and taught in some secondary schools.

One should not think that the presented version is a work of fiction. Not at all. This is a sober attempt analysis of known facts, set out in publications of the recent past. Some of these sources are recognized by historical science as reliable, and some belong to fiction. Such, for example, as notes from travelers.

However, there has been no consensus among historians in assessing the reliability of sources, their admissibility and relevance. Meanwhile, I have every reason to believe that many officially recognized academic science sources sin much more against the truth than artistic descriptions of travels, or even more so than ordinary cookbooks. According to the falsifiers, there is nothing to hide or distort in them. It is enough to declare all this to be the authors’ bias, incompetence and simply rich imagination.

To avoid serious consequences for the peace of mind of readers, I suggest playing a fun game. Before starting a fascinating journey into the past of our Motherland, try to imagine yourself as a small child, never who did not study history at school or university. Start from scratch, with a clean slate, completely erasing from your memory everything that was told to you before. And after reading, remember again and compare the version of the historical development of our country, which is set out in textbooks, and the one with which you have become acquainted now. And answer yourself, hand on heart, one question: which version seems more logical, harmonious, and plausible to you?

Chronology

This is one of the cornerstones of historical science. The fact is that there is no single calendar on planet Earth does not exist to this day. Most countries have recently agreed to use the birth of Jesus Christ as their starting point, but some still maintain traditional chronology, in parallel with the generally accepted one. And a couple of centuries ago, in almost every city there was own calendar, which gave rise to monstrous difficulties for chroniclers when describing events, in terms of when exactly they occurred. That is why here you will find three calendars at once: Slavic, Mogul and Gregorian. At the same time, it is clear to everyone that we can talk about exactly when this or that event took place only conditionally, adjusted for the discovery of Academician N.A. Morozov (1854-1946), who convincingly proved that at a minimum, one extra not existing in reality , millennium.

Anthropology

This is a very painful issue, especially for our Mongolian friends, because it can plunge them into tragic disappointment. And I understand them. So they grazed horses and sheep, considered themselves a nomadic people, and suddenly, in 1929, Soviet historians told our partners that the Great Genghis Khan, it turns out, was a Mongol, which means that all modern Mongols are descendants of the glorious commander and conqueror. The Mongols have been proud of their newly acquired famous relative for almost a century. He is now their national hero, and there are now almost more sculptures of Genghis Khan in Mongolia than statues of Lenin and Ulaanbaatar.

It was precisely based on the crazy version that Genghis Khan belonged to the modern Mongols that painters, sculptors, and filmmakers began to portray him as a prominent representative of the Mongoloid race. This image, introduced into the consciousness of followers of the version of the “Tatar-Mongol yoke,” misleads us. But it is necessary to understand that the Moguls, the people to which Genghis Khan belonged, as well as all his ancestors and descendants, were not Mongoloid. All of them had a distinct European appearance. This has already been confirmed hundreds of times by numerous studies by both archaeologists and geneticists, and specialists in the field DNA genealogy.

In medieval images of the inhabitants of Great Tartary, there is not a single Tartar with an Asian appearance. Even Chinese tangerines are depicted in medieval engravings with large light eyes and blond hair and beards. Although the common people already at that time had many people who had features familiar to us today, allowing us to classify the Chinese as a Mongoloid race.

Geography

Geography, as a science, undoubtedly belongs to one of the most conservative areas of knowledge, along with geology. Someone once established that dogma, on the basis of which these sciences are based, are unshakable and not subject to doubt or revision. All doubts are interpreted in favor of the backwardness and ignorance of medieval cartographers, as well as their bias and incompetence. Differences in the outlines of the coastlines of continents and islands are attributed to the imperfection of instruments and the incompleteness of the factual database available at the time of drawing up the maps.

However, as experience shows, which, by the way, is completely ignored by official science today, geographical changes are happening often not for billions and millions of years, but much faster. Sometimes quickly. Islands tend to appear and disappear again. Capes, bays and peninsulas also appeared and disappeared more than once over the foreseeable period of time, when sufficiently advanced tools and technologies were already available to make accurate maps.

The canyon of St. Helens National Park in the United States appeared overnight, and geologists still repeat rote postulates that it takes hundreds of millions of years for such objects to arise. Therefore, much attention should be paid more attention to medieval maps, which depict the unknown outlines of the continents. For example, if we consider a number of maps of Asia compiled during the fifteenth century, we can trace in dynamics how vast territories on the northeastern tip of the Eurasian continent went under water, how the Sea of ​​Okhotsk appeared, how first an archipelago and then a large island arose in it , which subsequently connected with the continental part and became the familiar Kamchatka. One can also observe a fairly complete history of the emergence of Sakhalin Island and the Kuril ridge, as well as the fragmentation of one large island into an archipelago, which is now known to us as Japan.

The situation is approximately the same with hydrographic objects. Several inland seas disappeared almost without a trace, just as they ceased to exist before our eyes Aral Sea... So the Cathay Sea left behind only a wetland in central Siberia. The White Sea, which was on the territory of modern Bashkiria, reminds of its existence in the past only by the name of the Belaya River, which flows through Ufa. The outline of the great Mazanderund Sea in Turkestan changed completely, which was divided into the Caspian and Aral. The Khvalynsk Sea left only a reminder of itself, in the form of the Belarusian swamps, with a “horseshoe” formed by a necklace of cities from Bialystok in the west to Lipetsk in the east, including Minsk, which were once port cities. The Lena Sea, which was once on the borders of modern Khabarovsk Territory and Yakutia, also disappeared. True, later the current Sea of ​​Okhotsk began to be called Lensky.

It is also necessary to remember the main "autobahns" of the Middle Ages - rivers. They were many times more full-flowing, and therefore more extended. The path from the Varangians to the Greeks did not require the use of barge haulers on portages. Deep rivers allowed ships to pass through channels from one large river basin to another, without resorting to such a difficult task as dragging heavy ships from one river to another. This need arose after the severe shallowing of continental waterways only in the seventeenth century. It is logical that the following point follows from the circumstances indicated here:

Geographical and ethnographic names

Here, perhaps, the falsifiers worked most of all. I note that there is no reason to consider such modern historians. It's not their fault that sincerely believe in history, as science, and do not doubt the dogmas that became canonical several generations before their birth. They work with what they have, and their mistakes are more a problem than a fault. Can you imagine how bitter it is to one day realize that have you spent your life studying something that did not exist in nature? That your dissertations and monographs are only fit for repose in a dusty archive? All that remains is to sympathize.

However, you have to be brave and admit that Katay, which appears in many officially recognized sources, has not the slightest relation to that country, which is known throughout the world as “China”, and is only called “China” in Russian. The fact is that Cathay is a land that was located in a place surrounding the Cathay Sea, and this is the territory of modern Kurgan and Tyumen regions. Even a hint has been preserved: in the Kurgan region, today there is a city called Kataysk.

The presence of such a name on maps as the Strait of Tartary causes great bewilderment. It would seem where Kazan is and where the Far East is. How could the Tatar Strait appear in a place where, according to modern ideas, the Tatars did not even pass close? And everything becomes simple and logical if you understand that in fact this is a strait separating the continental part of Tartary from the island in the ocean. Not the slightest trace of bewilderment remains. On the contrary, it seems completely logical that the Strait of Tartar. Well, don’t call it Baltic!

Knowing this, historians would not have to invent ridiculous explanations such facts from history, such as, for example, a message in some chronicle that Prince So and So went to “China” and soon returned. If he went to China, then... Yes... You need to try very hard to explain to the “dumb” student how it was possible to reach the territory of modern China by land on horseback, starting the journey from the shores of Ilmen, and return back. But, now, we know where the real Cathay was, and “translators” in the person of historians with degrees and titles are not in demand. It is already clear to the student that although the road is not close, it is still quite possible to gallop to Kurgan and return back soon.

Next, it is necessary to debunk the most harmful, in my opinion, deep-rooted myth, thanks to which an understandable and logical story turns into a kind of pile of completely wild speculation that distorts and putting it on a par with pseudosciences, pseudo-religions and other obscurantism. We are talking about the Mongols, and, accordingly, about the “Tatar-Mongols”.

In this case, there is not even a thought about the likelihood of random errors and misconceptions of historians. Here there is a clear and evil intent, aimed at the persistent, long-term implementation of a false basic historical “framework”, which is designed to exclude the very possibility of dissent in order to extract political dividends from Russia’s strategic opponents. This is neither more nor less, an informational act of sabotage, allowing any attempt to restore historical justice to be turned into a crime. This is called the “Inversion Method,” when a lie is declared to be the truth, and doubts about its validity are declared “attempts to rewrite history.”

In modern Western science there is information about the “Great Mughal Empire,” the history of which is taught quite a lot of time. In the Russian tradition, these people were called Mungals or Manguls, and it is not customary to give lectures about them, so for the majority even the word "Mogul" sounds exotic. Our ordinary student often asks: “Maybe a Mongol, not a Mogol”? The location of the territories that belonged to this mysterious empire is also very controversial. Any English or French schoolchild will tell you that the Mughal Empire was located on the territory of modern India. However, I am inclined to believe that almost the same story is taking place here as in the case of Cathay.

The self-name of the Mughals is known. They called themselves Mogulls and once settled from the shores of the Arctic Ocean to... Don’t laugh, but according to the Mogull chroniclers, their lands bordered on Indian ones. Thus, based on these facts, we can doubt the connection of the “Great Mughals” with India, and even more so with the nomadic tribes of cattle breeders, now known to us under the name Mongols. It should be noted here that India, like Tartary, was not alone, and in addition to its own name, it was also a designation that had several different uses.

And the essence of the toponym “India”, also known as “India” (in different sources, different spellings are found), can become clear when deciphering the meaning of the ancient Russian word, which has fallen out of use along with “paki”, “velmi” and “ponezhe” - “ inde."

Inde means “the same” (the same way), “uzh” (not far away), “now” (now the next one), “and if” (and if he is nearby). Those. the conclusion suggests itself that the word “inde” meant in the sense of “ land lying nearby, close, border" In addition, in various lands the word “Inde” had a very specific meaning; it meant “distant country” or “foreign land”. Then there is no question about the name "India". For the Mughals it was “the land next to their land,” or rather “neighboring.”

And so, from events that were elementary for us, but incomprehensible to the mind of academician Gerhard Miller, “long and salty” were combined. And his, Miller, labors, due to ignorance and ardent Russophobia, the result was the most ridiculous construction in world history “Tatar-Mongols” (Mongol-Tatars). Worse, perhaps, is the only “Norman theory”, authored by the same Miller. And if the Tatars are still a Russian-language designation for the inhabitants of Tartaria (of which there were also many, Cherkassy Tartary, Kyrgyz Tartary, Moscow, etc.), then the Mughals are, one might say, a non-existent concept that is not in the slightest degree connected with the nomads Mongols.

Here I would like to note that the word “Tartaria” is used so often in cartography that it would not be too absurd to assume that over time it became the word "territory", because the maps were compiled mainly in Latin and Arabic. Thus, we get that in the case when we see the name “Mosqovian Tartaria” on the map, we are dealing with literally “Moscow Territory”. But... Most likely, this is a later version. In the initial period, each Tataria was precisely a Tataria, which in meaning meant a certain type of social organization, a form of pre-state structure, similar in essence to a principality.

Climate, flora and fauna

Studying the descriptions of Tartaria, it is impossible not to be surprised by the glaring inconsistencies of what we read and see in engravings and lithographs with our ideas about geological eras. It turns out that everything we learned in school about eras(Archaean, Paleozoic, Mesozoic, Cenozoic) and periods with epochs, it is necessary to reconsider, because they were “discovered” even before the appearance of the first heavier-than-air aircraft. Since then, aviation has made not a step, but a real breakthrough to hypersonic speeds, and geology has remained stuck in an era of ignorance and obscurantism.

The first thing that suggests that we do not understand something about the peculiarities of the climatic conditions of the Middle Ages is the mention of plants and animals in places where their existence today is impossible in principle. For example, images of wild boar hunting scenes in the Arctic Circle. How?! Wild boars are not found in permafrost zones. And what are the descriptions of elephants and camels in the territories of modern Yakutia and Ugra worth?

How should we react to the fact that literally every other lithograph copying sketches of medieval travelers we see many tropical plants, most often palm groves are unmistakably guessed. The descriptions of the khan's palaces speak of the widespread use of bamboo! And this despite the fact that the winters were snowy and frosty, bamboo was a very common building material, does that mean the permafrost is not so eternal?

The next glaring fact indicates that there were no deserts in Central Asia. And it’s true... What did the “Tatar-Mongols” feed hundreds of thousands of horses, sheep and cows? It wasn’t the compound feed that was imported from Samara! But the truth is that the city of Samarkand was completely destroyed by fire at least twice. I will emphasize two words: “completely” and “by fire.” There is even evidence that only one building in Samarkand was made of stone - the Palace of the Great Khan. The rest of the city was made of wood with a population of up to thirty thousand people. Well, they didn’t build houses from saxaul, and they didn’t transport them from Siberia! It's simple.

Several times I came across direct indications that the whole of Turkestan, from Siberia to the Pamirs and the Hindu Kush, was covered with dense forests. Robbers hid in these forests, robbing the caravans of passing merchants, and rich nobles and Khans loved to hunt here, for the forests abounded in wild animals. There was, however, a mention that in the Karakum region there were few trees and a lot of unplowed land, where there lived a tribe who preferred to eat sweet roots that they dug out of the ground rather than plow the land, grow bread or raise animals. And the wildest thickets were located in the lower reaches of the Volga. Where the Kalmyk steppes are today, there were forests especially rich in game. Genghis Khan himself loved to hunt there.

State structure

When our contemporary says the word “state,” a memorized paragraph from a law textbook or a manual on the basics of state and law appears in his head. But this is a colossal mistake - automatically transfer modern concepts with their current meaning deep into history. You should always remember that over time, the definitions of phenomena, processes and objects inevitably change, sometimes to diametrically opposed ones.

So, if you find yourself in the nineteenth century, if you utter the phrase “red fish,” you will most likely act cruelly towards your listeners. You will break their aesthetic perception of beauty, because the word “red” to fish is of little use to a speaker of the pre-revolutionary Russian language. “Red” means beautiful, but fish was never considered beautiful. And what we now call “red,” meaning the wavelength of the light spectrum, was previously called “red.” in red».

So here it is. The word “state”, until the beginning of the nineteenth century, did not mean exactly what you might think of when you hear it. Previously, a state was a land whose inhabitants paid tribute to the sovereign, who organized their protection from unfriendly visits from uninvited guests. That's all. The state did not imply any borders, territories, customs, passports, a single language, a single legislation or currency. Today the state can extend as far as that river over there, but on Friday only to the outskirts. Therefore, there is no point in looking at the map and looking for where the state of Turan begins and where it ends. There were no political maps at that time, where the territories of countries were painted in different colors.

There was only one country. In Europe it was called Great Tartaria. Why not Russia? It’s just that the lands of the Russians at that time were much smaller in area than the lands of those whom the Russians called Tatars. And if the largest and most populous territories belonged to the Cheremissi or Meshcheryaks, then the entire country would be called Cheremissia or Biarmia. When the Chud, Vod, Krivichi, Talavas, Vyatichi, Slovenians and others joined the Russian tribe, the Russians became more numerous than anyone else, and the rulers of the Russians began to collect taxes from the Tatars, then most of Tartaria became part of Russia. But independent Tartary is within the borders of Turkestan alone continued to exist for a long time. And she tried to take revenge right up to the beginning of the nineteenth century. But it didn't work out...

Culture

Without even suspecting it, we still use the heritage of the culture of Great Tartaria in everyday life. For example, custom of removing street shoes at the entrance to the house. Representatives of Western civilization consider this custom of Russians to change their shoes into slippers on the threshold of an apartment to be barbaric, indicating denseness and “uncivilization.” However, for us this situation is seen in the opposite way. Wildness is when you enter a clean house and do not take off the shoes in which you collected all the dirt on the street. Walking around the house in outdoor shoes is like not washing your hands before eating, your feet before going to bed, or not brushing your teeth.

But the custom of changing shoes has been preserved in Russia since since the existence of Great Tartary. Thus, Marco Polo, in his memoirs about a visit to the palace of Kublai Khan, says that upon entering the palace, all visitors took off their boots and put on the white soft leather slippers they had brought with them. Hence the custom of burying the dead in white slippers. Remember the expression “I saw you in the coffin in white slippers”? That's where the dog rummaged. Our ancestors considered it blasphemy to send a person into the world wearing street shoes.

Next, it is worth remembering such a forgotten phenomenon as wipers with a whistle on the chest. Do you know where this phenomenon appeared in Russia? And all from the same Tartaria. The night watchman service was founded in ancient times at the legislative level. It is no longer possible to determine which of the great Khans issued this decree. But this is an absolutely reliable fact that in all villages and cities, street cleaners were obliged to go around the streets at night and blow a whistle, or knock with a wooden mallet, so that thieves and thieves would not have trouble the temptation to steal something from sleeping citizens or to rob someone.

Today it is quite difficult to find on the shelves of Russian stores tartar sauce". But in Europe, this is a very popular sauce! Isn't it strange? After all, this product got its name precisely because it was once brought to Europe from Tartary. There they really liked it and became widespread, but here the opposite happened. The fashion for foreign things has played a cruel joke on us. We have forgotten our original foods, and those that we have not forgotten have been given foreign names. This happened with Olivier salad, which is actually not of French origin at all, but an original Russian dish.

Salads were generally unknown in Europe until travelers brought the fashion for them from Russia. Only Asian cultures had a tradition of chopping foods and mixing them into soups and salads. For Europeans to this day our Olivier, Herring under a fur coat, okroshka and borscht seem wild. In their opinion, we mix incompatible products in one bowl. And the inhabitants of Great Tartaria have been accustomed to preparing food this way since time immemorial.

Even cakes, for which modern European cuisine is so famous, is also borrowed from tartar cooking. The word “cake” itself clearly indicates the origin of this dish. True, in Rus' the cake was prepared according to one single recipe. Pancakes in a high stack were generously coated with honey, and this sweet dish was served on the table in the form of vertically cut pieces, consisting of many layers of pancakes, glued together with a viscous sweet impregnation. And already in Europe they began to bake cakes, greatly simplifying their production by baking thick cakes, and honey, which was always very expensive and rare there, was replaced with other sweets. Initially, these were apples, plums and pears, boiled and having the consistency of jam.

Linguistics

Today you will not surprise anyone with the statement that all the so-called Indo-European languages ​​have a common, common basis for all. But I also remember other times when science stood firmly on the dogmatic postulates that Asian, Northern and European languages ​​arose on their own and developed independently of each other. Thus, there was a theory about the independent existence of the Finno-Ugric language group, Slavic, Romance and Anglo-Saxon. The languages ​​and dialects common in India and Arab countries were generally separated into third-party groups; the so-called languages ​​of the “Turkic” group also stood apart.

But only a couple of decades have passed, and then what was considered anti-scientific sedition, has already been included in textbooks, and science was forced to recognize a single basis for all European, most Asian, Indian and Arabic languages ​​and dialects. I think that the day is not far away when scientists will be faced with the need to recognize the fact that Turkic, and to be honest, Turkic, and not “Turkic” languages, are also one of the branches of a single language in the past, which was used by all Caucasian inhabitants our continent.

And such a language was, most likely, the language spoken by one of its last speakers Genghis Khan. During his reign, few people could communicate in it, and it was called Mogull. But after studying many ancient sources, I came to the conclusion that all the languages ​​of the Slavic group are closest to the Mogullian language. The language spoken and written by the great Mughals. It was preserved practically without distortion in the form of the now “dead” Sanskrit. Precisely because our Indian friends who studied Sanskrit feel quite comfortable in a Russian-speaking environment. Many simple Russian words do not require translation. They know what a woman, a sheep, a hut, a daughter-in-law, a stupa, money, tyn, etc. are.

In addition, a huge number of words that we are accustomed to consider native Russian existed unchanged in the Mogull language. A simple example. Today it seems obvious to us that the name Kuchubey has nothing to do with the Russian language. But if you delve into the essence of the many real names of tartars, information about which has survived to this day, then involuntarily you begin to feel like a mogul. Here are just a few examples of typical “Tatar” names: Guess(in textbooks for some reason he appears under the name Udegey), Nogai, Run away, Catch up, Quietly, Mamai, Chelombey... Again, Kuchubey. What is Turkic about the words “heap” and “beat”?

Moreover, many Tartar names today are considered originally European. For example, such a common name in Latvia, like Gunar, was very common among the Tartars. And such native Ukrainian endings of surnames as “chuk” and “enko” were the most common endings for the names of real historical characters, khans and governors of Great Tartary. There are many more similar examples that can be found, but I will leave them for research by specialists in the field of linguistics and philology.

Insinuations

History, as is known, write the winners. And the correctness of this statement can be easily verified even by the example of our own experience. The country that was called the USSR disappeared quite recently. Only one generation has passed since its disappearance from the political map of the world, and what do we see? How often do modern media mention it? And if they are mentioned, it is most often in a negative light. Every year there are fewer and fewer references to the topic of the Soviet Union. Most likely, within the lifetime of our generation, even pronouncing the name of the country in which we were born will not only become a rule of bad taste, I do not even rule out the possibility that it will not be safe. We already see examples of this in neighboring republics with our own eyes, quite enough.

Roughly the same thing happened with the history of Great Tartary. It, as one of the most perfect forms of social structure in the entire history of mankind, became a bone in the throat of nationalists, imperialists and capitalists. The Great Tartary, by its very existence in the past, laid such a powerful and unshakable foundation for our modern Russia that, despite the oblivion of the true history, no one managed to destroy Tartary itself. The names of the country, forms of government and forms of government can change as much as desired, but the foundation remains inviolable. Tartary, the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation, all these are different names for one country.

Yes, it changes, mutates, sometimes becomes stronger, sometimes weaker, but it is truly immortal, unlike all the Roman and Chinese empires, which are not a fact that they even existed in the form in which modern historians present them to us. But with Tartaria the situation is completely different. In museums, libraries and private collections of Western countries, an incredible number of documents have been preserved that allow us to reconstruct in detail not only some historical events, but also details of the life structure of this country, little things that allow us to judge the customs, life and technologies that were common among peoples and tribes , united into a giant proto-state.

Skeptics claim that all this is fake and a deliberate information dump, which was created by marginal pseudoscientists and enemies of Russia, whose goal... This sounds incredible, but skeptics claim that in this way the enemies are trying to discredit the bright past of great Rus', slander the merits of the Russians, and rewrite history in favor of the “Great Kazan Tatars” and “Volga Bulgars”. I have still not been able to find logic in the words of these “highly educated” unshakable “patriots”. After all, everything is exactly the opposite. The truth about the Tartar past of Rus' not only in no way diminishes the dignity of our ancestors, but, on the contrary, in every possible way contributes to strengthening the integrity, unity and independence of our country.

The truth about Tartary, which was so diligently and persistently erased from history by the Russophobes of the last two hundred years, ruling Russia, is capable of finally and irrevocably proving that the path chosen by our ancestors for the equal coexistence of various tribes and clans under the shadow of a single organization was the only correct, fair and viable one. This is proven by the very fact that Russia still exists. And the fact that the truth about Tartary has broken through only in the last two decades is due only to the development of information technology, which has made it possible to digitize huge amounts of documents, hitherto unclaimed, and provide open access to them to the widest range of interested parties.

Artificially organize “stuffing” on such a scale is not possible for any state or intelligence service. Moreover, rethinking some of the points that I mentioned above made it possible to take a new look at those documents that no one had hidden in our country until now. Upon closer examination, a simply incredible number of written sources were found in domestic libraries, testifying to the true history of Great Tartary. Most often, it is enough to take some edition of the eighteenth or nineteenth century and put the terminology in order. If you read “tartars” instead of “tatars”, everything hidden seems to lose its cover, the eyes open, and the reader finally understands the true meaning of what is written.

That is why the kings of the Romanov dynasty tried to do everything possible so that the people would forget that it is possible to be free, to live without gentlemen, landowners and priests. A similar motive existed among those who decided to take control into their own hands, among the social revolutionaries and social democrats, who, having come to power, began destroy everything, which would remind the people of how they lived under the “hated tsarism.” And along the way, all documents that shed light on the truth about what the country was like before the monarchist class of exploiters came to power were also destroyed.

And in my opinion, none of this would have happened if we had genuine information about our past. A person who knows how it really was cannot be convinced of an imposed alien ideology. It is impossible to confuse and subordinate him to your will, to make him an instrument, a cog in a machine that subjugates huge masses of people to one person or a group of shepherds. A decent person will never seek to subjugate other people. And a dishonest person who tries to instill false information in the people about their history, culture and the place and role of their ancestors in world history is powerless before those whom he tries to manipulate. This is why you need to be impartial and objective when trying to understand history.

That is why I consider it my duty to present my vision of the history of Great Tartaria, formed during many years of collecting and studying bit by bit information contained in a variety of disparate sources. What I am about to tell you is not in the least connected with the speculations of various lecturers and all sorts of clairvoyants. Everything that I write about in the “Course of Tartar Studies” is one way or another reflected in written sources, including cartography and albums with medieval engravings.
