The instructions say that the flywheel can only be turned clockwise... However, the machine does not like it when I touch it when sewing. This may be necessary if, for example, the line ends, I release the pedal, and the needle remains in the fabric at this moment. I have to twist the handwheel a little to get the needle out. The needle is very tight and the thread may break. Sometimes it was necessary to disassemble the entire mechanism in order to get a needle that was stuck. From the frequent twisting of the flywheel at the beginning of operation, one needle was bent. But gradually I got used to letting go of the pedal when the needle was outside.

If the seam is straight, then everything works out perfectly. But if during the sewing you had to make several stops and turns, then at the end, it happens that the upper thread clings to the bobbin mechanism at the bottom. As a result, you have to cut three threads instead of two. This happens on different cars, including fully mechanical ones.

Care

For frequent use, oil the bobbin mechanism once a month. Cover the machine with a cover to protect it from dust. Unfortunately, it comes with a soft fabric case.

Impressions

The Husqvarna Viking E10 sewing machine is light in weight. It is not difficult for me to rearrange it. After finishing work for it, removing it is not a problem. It is not noisy when sewing. Perhaps the reason is in crooked hands, but I experimented a lot and did not succeed in solving the problem. There were never any breakdowns, but sometimes the machine was capricious for no obvious reason. I do not clean and grease as often as I should, so the machine is tenacious. It's a pity that there is no speed regulator and an automatic machine on the hinges - it would be absolutely wonderful.
