Basic VW POLO 2014 will receive a liter three-cylinder atmospheric unit with a capacity of 75 hp. In the partners, he only lists the five-speed "mechanics". Motor is available only in the TRANDLINE configuration.

Immediately behind it, a liter turbine unit with a capacity of 110 hp, which also complete and polo and Crosspolo. Transmissions for it are offered two - six-speed manual transmission and seven-step DSG. Expected on sale in Ukraine only since November. From November, 1.8 TSI will appear in the Polo motor range, but only for modifying VW Polo GTI. At the same time, diesel 1.4 TDI will be released in power modifications 75 or 105 hp. For the latter only one box is available - the five-speed "mechanics". These motors are no longer new, comply with the requirements of Euro-4. The Germans considered inappropriate to adapt DSG for them, so only manual boxes, only for corporate clients.

The main rate in Volkswagen is made at 1.2 TSI with a seven-step "robot" DSG. Importers are expecting the greatest interest among Ukrainians to 1.2 TSI 90 hp and DSG.

The new 90-strong TSI aggregate behaves perfectly. It is impossible to say that it is enough with interest - on overtaking it is worth being attentive. But if you compare with atmospheric 1.4, which was used in Dorestayling Polo, in any case, the progress on the face - the new Polo is going well. In the city, the combination of this motor with a five-speed "mechanics" is also at the level, since the long shelf of the moment allows not too often to switch.
