The recent International Military Technical Forum "Army 2016" has become a platform for demonstrating various new developments in the field of weapons and technology. The exposition of Russian companies and organizations was taken most of the exhibition pavilions and open areas of the Forum, however, some of the exhibits were brought from abroad. Thus, the Belarusian company "Minotor-service" this time showed two of its newest developments. In the open area, Multi-purpose tracked chassis "Breeze" and "Mosquito" were presented.

Minotov-Service Minsk enterprise from the beginning of the nineties is maintained by servicing and updating various military equipment. Over time, the company's specialists have begun to develop their own projects of various techniques. To date, several variants of combat and auxiliary machines on a tracked move were presented. The exhibition "Army-2016" became the platform for showing the next new products. Using existing experience and some new ideas, engineers from the Republic of Belarus did not create two options for universal chassis with different characteristics.

Chassis "Breeze"

The goal of the project with the Breeze cipher was the creation of a promising caterpillar chassis suitable for use as a basis of various military equipment, primarily a special purpose. Based on BRAZ, it is proposed to build machines with different radio-electronic equipment, such as radar or Reb stations, anti-air defense intelligence machines, command-staff equipment, sanitary, repair, etc. Samples. In accordance with such requirements relating to the possibility of the widest possible application, the new chassis received a number of characteristic design features.

With the use of existing experience, Minotor-Service has formed a general appearance of two new chassis. It is noteworthy that with the exception of some important features, Breeze and Mosquito armored vehicles have significant similarities. Differences are associated with some features of the case, power plant and chassis. Because of this, the appearance of two samples is very similar, although some of its features allow you to immediately distinguish a promising technique.

There is reason to believe that in the new project used not only existing ideas, but also aggregates borrowed from some previous projects. So, a few years ago, Belarusian engineers were offered a multi-purpose chassis "Mosquito", which was the development of the already existing platform 3T. The design of the chassis and the overall layout of the body makes it possible to talk about the continuity of old and new projects of the company "Minotor service".

The chassis "Breeze" has armored housing, providing protection for the crew and payload from the bullets of the rifle and fragments of artillery shells. Accurate booking indicators, such as sheet thickness or caliber of the holding bullet, are not specified. Probably a circular protection against rifle gauge weapons. Measures aimed at reducing damage from explosive devices, apparently, were not accepted, as he says the form of the lower part of the hull.

The Breeze Machine Case received a frontal part of the characteristic formed by several large armored persons. The upper forehead aggregate consists of three sheets located at an angle to the vertical. At the same time, narrow zoomy sheets are mounted with a slope outward. The lower part of the forehead also has three sheets in its composition, however, it is placed at a smaller angle to the vertical. The case received vertical boards and aft. The roof of the sample presented consists of two parts. The front is a horizontal sheet, and in the stern there is a small superstructure with a direct central sheet and diluted side.

The layout of the housing is standard for modern special armored vehicles. The front of the reserved volume is given to the placement of the engine and the transmission. A part of the transmission units is also placed in the stern and binds to the main power unit with the help of appropriate means located above the bottom. The motor compartment is inhabited. In the front of it, the crew workplaces are placed. Other corps volumes are given to the placement of payload in the form of various electronic or other special equipment, as well as jobs serving it.

The chassis "Breeze" is proposed to equip the six-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine, developing power up to 300 hp With 2600 revolutions per minute. Two transmissions options are proposed. The first implies the use of an automatic hydromechanical transmission gear with six steps of the front and one rear, the second - mechanical with 8 speeds of the front and 2 rear. Regardless of the type of gearbox, the transmission must include a two-way contaminated rotation mechanism with hydrostatic drive in an additional branch. To maintain the power plant in the windshield case, a large hatch is provided. Selection devices for supplying air to the power unit are located on the bile sheets and side of the housing forehead.

The chassis of the armored vehicle has in its composition seven pairs of support rollers with an individual torsion suspension, reinforced by additional shock absorbers. For the correct mass distribution of the machine to the aggregates of the chassis, increased gaps are used between the first three pairs of rinks. Couples with a third in the seventh are relatively tight and close to each other. In the front of the case, the guide wheels are located, leading are in the stern. Multiple supporting rollers are used. The Metal Caterpillar "Breez" is built on the basis of parallel to the rubberometallic hinge. The upper branch of the caterpillar and some of the other aggregates is covered with rubber on-board screens. For greater convenience of the crew in the front of the screen, there is a reinforced hole used as a footboard.

The owned crew of the universal chassis of Belarusian development consists of two people. The driver and commander should be located in the front part of the inhabited compartment at their workplaces. To access its seats, the crew is proposed to use the hatches in the roof. Observation of the road and the surrounding atmosphere can only be done with periscopic examination. Each workplace is equipped with three devices placed next to the hatch. Also the driver is proposed to use rearview mirrors. They are fixed hinged and fixed in the working position with special locks. If necessary, the mirror can be rotated in the direction of the central part of the case and fit on it.

On the outer surfaces of the machine body, fasteners are provided for the transport of various property and equipment. In the front and central part of the sides, it is proposed to mount locks and hooks for the transport of towing cables. There is also a set of fasteners for the Shant tool. Depending on the configuration of the chassis and the tasks of the special machine under construction on its base, other necessary devices and aggregates can be mounted on the outer surface of the housing.

The Length of the Breeze chassis is 6.515 m, the width is 2.4 m, the height is excluding special equipment - 2.45 m. Clearance - 390 mm. The total mass of the machine should reach 15 tons. In this case, the specific power may exceed 20 hp on ton weight. It is announced the possibility of moving along the highway at a speed of up to 70 km / h. Having on board 280 liters of fuel, the chassis can drive up to 400 km. The chassis allows you to rise to the wall with a height of 0.5 m and cross member 1.6 m wide. The maximum angle of lifting is 35 °, roll - up to 25 °. A sealed case is used, so that the car can overcome water obstacles. With the rewind of caterpillars, speed is developing up to 3-5 km / h.

The Breeze project implies the use of a crawler chassis with a bronorcupus as a basis for specialized equipment. To install a particular equipment, it is proposed to use the internal volumes of the housing. Also, part of the aggregates can be installed on the outer surface of the machine. Inside the armorpus, the compartment is given 2.51 m long compartment, 2,375 m wide and 1.515 m wide. The dimensions of the external devices are actually limited to the sizes and lifting chassis.

According to the developer, the universal chassis "Breeze" can be used in the construction of self-propelled radar stations, radio electronic combat machines, air defense systems, command-staff or sanitary machines, as well as technical assistance complexes. The characteristics of a perspective sample are similar to the parameters of the common mt-forehead chassis, which allows it to be used as an equivalent replacement for the technique of old types. At the same time, it is expected to have some advantage in running and other characteristics.

Some modifications of technology on the basis of "breeze" may require changes in the composition of power units. Modern radio electronic equipment may differ sufficiently high power consumption, which requires additional means in the composition of the carrier electromesystem. To solve such tasks, a new chassis can be equipped with an autonomous diesel generator unit with a capacity of up to 18.7 kW.

During the recent Military Salon "Army 2016", the company "Minotor-service" showed the prototype of a promising universal chassis. To demonstrate the possibilities of the new car, the exhibition sample received some additional equipment. On the stern part of the car, a telescopic antenna-mast device was installed, which can be used as part of a complex of radio-electronic means. In another configuration, the chassis can receive any other equipment, including the antenna systems.

Chassis "Mosquito"

At the Salon "Army 2016" was also demonstrated by the Universal Chassis "Moskit". Despite the general name, the machine shown is seriously different from previously represented samples of the same name. So, in the course of the development of previous projects of promising armored vehicles, the developer has changed the construction of the hull and revised some other features of the design. There is reason to believe that the purpose of all these changes was to ensure the maximum unification of several new samples of armored vehicles. In favor of this assumption, the construction of the hull and some other features of the Breeze and Mosquitas projects are said.

The chassis "Mosquito" externally and in its design is similar to the armored vehicle "Breeze", however, has some differences. First of all, it is necessary to note smaller dimensions and full mass. Due to the difference in these characteristics, the Customer gets the opportunity to purchase a universal chassis that most fully appropriate to the existing specifications. Both chassis can be used as a basis for specialized samples of military equipment. In addition, Mosquito can be the base for combat vehicles with one or another weapons of various classes and types.

According to the design and layout of the Moskit case, it is similar to the "Breeze" described above. A similar housing with a faceted frontal part and a motor compartment hatch in the upper central sheet is used. The only serious distinction of the frontal unit is a wax-reflecting shield, in the transport position lying on the top windshield. The location of the lighting equipment and the air intake lattice remains unchanged. The inhabited compartment, placed in the central and forage parts of the housing, is given under the crew and special equipment. As in the case of the "Breeze", on "Mosquito" provides for a forage superstructure of the roof, increasing the volume for equipment.

Information about the power installation of a easier chassis is still missing. It is possible to use unified aggregates that simplify the production of equipment. In addition, it is impossible to exclude the use of two transmission options based on the gearboxes of different types. The chassis of two new samples is also uniform. The only significant difference between caterpillar drivers is the number of support rollers: on "Moskit" them six for each board. Increased gaps between the front pairs of rinks are saved. It is noteworthy that the rubber on-board screens of a light chassis consist of four sections, while the structures of five are used on the "breeze".

The Mosquito Universal Chassis differs from the other recently represented sample with smaller dimensions, which is due to the reduced housing length. The abbreviated number of support rollers is connected with this. The length of "Mosquito" is 5.98 m, the width is 2.4 m, the height is 2.15 m. The clearance corresponds to the parameters of another machine - 390 mm. The full mass of armored vehicles are declared at 12.4 tons. According to the developer, the chassis will be able to develop speeds up to 70 km / h on the highway. 280-liter fuel tanks are able to provide a stroke of 400 km. Water obstacles are invited to overcome the flood. The rewind of the caterpillars is provided by the speed of no more than 5 km / h.

An interesting difference between the Mosquito chassis from larger and heavy "breezes", reflected in information materials on two projects, is the possibility of applying as a basis for combat vehicles. It can be built on its base with fire support, tactical intelligence, patrols, anti-air defense complexes or anti-tank missile carriers. Interestingly, previous samples of technology from "Minotov-Service", which were called "Mosquito", also had the possibility of installing weapons and use in various roles. Thanks to this, the potential customer gets the opportunity to choose a suitable role for promising techniques from a larger number of options offered.

As confirmation of the possibilities of a promising chassis, photographic materials showing special techniques at its base have already been demonstrated. So, a snapshot of the self-propelled anti-tank complex was already published. In such a modification, the mosquito chassis gets a lifting start-up installation in the stern part of the case. Using the built-in drives, it is proposed to raise the installation along with the roof section, after which the system operator can find and attack the target with the help of managed rocket weapons.

Approval about the possibility of transformation of "Mosquito" in a combat machine of a particular type in the future can lead to the use of various combat modules with machine-gun, cannon or rocket weapons. It is likely that the specific composition of such equipment will be determined in accordance with the requirements of the customer.

To date, the Belarusian company "Minotor-Service" developed several projects of promising tracked technology suitable for use for various purposes. There are projects for the modernization of relatively old samples, and in addition, new types of equipment are offered. Among other things, for the past recent years, Belarusian specialists are engaged in creating universal chassis. Some options for such equipment, including additional equipment for solving specific tasks, have already been presented. Now a list of such developments has been replenished with two new projects.

The universal chassis "Briz" and Mosquito presented at the recent Forum "Army-2016" are of some interest. This technique is proposed as a basis for various special machines needed by various divisions of different types of troops. The advantage of this technique can be considered characteristics at the level of existing samples of old models. As a result, the possibility of replacing the existing technique with new analogues having similar parameters.

There should also be noted some shortcomings of new projects. Unified armor hulls of promising machines have anti-defense, which may be insufficient to solve some tasks. In particular, it can seriously limit the potential of technology in a direct collision with an opponent. In addition, the disadvantage may be considered the absence of anti-mining protection used in all modern armored vehicles. Such problems of protection can seriously limit the scope of application of technology without giving the opportunity to use it at the forefront.

A few weeks ago, the chassis "Breeze" and "Moskit" were first shown by a wide range of specialists, military and public. For obvious reasons, the commercial prospects of this technique can remain the subject of disputes. The real results of the recent demonstration will be known later when the first contracts for the supply of serial technology with one or another special equipment will have to appear. Nevertheless, it is not possible to exclude a different development of an event in which two interesting samples will remain exhibition exhibits without real practical prospects. Part of the previous developments of the company "Minotov-Service" reached mass production and putting on arms, while others have not yet been interested in the customer. What will be the fate of the chassis "Breeze" and "Mosquito" - will be known later.

One of the most important activities of the Open Joint-Stock Company "Rubtsovsky Machine-Building Plant" are the development and manufacture of vehicles intended for heavy road and climatic conditions. Works in this direction are conducted in relation to military caterpillar machines and civilian cars. At the same time, the goal of the maximum possible unification of machines according to the main nodes and aggregates, as well as the "imposition" of their production to a single manufacturing technology.
Since the foundation (1959), the plant was made by a crawler transporter-tractor GT-T, well-proven himself in the development of oil fields of Western Siberia. On the basis of this conveyor, several modifications of various appointments are developed for the transport of personnel, weapons and military equipment. At the same time, the traditional layout scheme used in these machines, in which the area of \u200b\u200bthe support branches of the caterpillars constitutes a relatively small part of the total projection of the machine (no more than 30%), does not allow them to be effectively used in areas with a weak load carrying capacity. This limitation is due to the excess of these soils by secondary specific pressure, the disadvantages of the on-board method of rotation, the impossibility of the development of the supporting surface due to the rigid restriction for single vehicles between the base and the kolay.



The search for solutions to increase the passability of tracked machines led to a diagram of a two-bonded 4-tracked machine with a kinematic method of rotation by mutual folding of the links. In 1982, the Rubtsov engineering plant was completed a set of experimental work on the creation of heavy dial-born snow-brewing vehicles of the Vityaz family. In the same year, cars were adopted. The Soviet Army, and their mass production began in the Bashkir branch of the Rubtsovsky machine-building plant, subsequently transformed into the Ishimbai plant of transport engineering. In 1987, all the topics of the caterpillar chassis was transferred to the Semipalatinsky and Ishimbay branches, and the Rubtsovsky machine-building plant switched to the release of special machines on the BMP chassis.
Since 1989, including within the framework of the defense production conversion, several modifications of machines have been created on the RMZ, which can be used as a chassis for the installation of weapons and military equipment, transportation of personnel and military-technical property:
  • Modernized crawler transporter-tractor GT-TM - is adopted, serially produced in the interests of the national economy. The conveyor can be applied as a means of a rebar of troops.
  • The universal tracked chassis 521m1 is produced by small parties in the interests of the national economy. The chassis is developed on nodes and units of BMP-1 and BMP-2, however, it has higher patency rates that allow its use as a tracked all-terrain vehicle. It has a modular design, easily adapts to the installation of various technological equipment.
  • Multipurpose armored car 502TB - created on the basis of the KSHM chassis "Stream-4 (1)" on the nodes and units of BMP-3 in the steel case. 4 prototypes of the machine are undergoing government tests in the composition of the Altaca complex. According to the parameters of useful carrying capacity and useful volume. Currently, this machine is the only modern alternative to the widespread chassis of MT-Luba, and on mobility, passability and security - significantly exceeds it. When creating the machine implemented the principle of full adaptation of the chassis to the equipment mounted on it.
  • DT-4P-binary crawler conveyor and its armored modification of DT-ZPB - machines with the characteristics of passability are unattainable for single all-terrain vehicles, therefore, in hard-to-reach areas, there are almost the only ground-based personnel of personnel and military-technical property. Considering the modularity of the structure, a family of various purposes can be created on their base for the actions of the ground troops in hard-to-reach areas with harsh climatic conditions. It should be noted that at present, the Park Multi-Purpose Catering Chassis in the Armed Forces is presented mainly by MT-LB MT-LB and MTB-Luba Tractors. Replenishment of troops by these machines is not carried out for more than 10 years, therefore, even on the storage technique now does not comply with the requirements for reliability. Crawler chassis especially high passability is generally absent in the troops, except for single specimens of two-born transporters of a large lifting capacity of the Vityaz family.
Along with this, there is a real need for various types of troops in the caterpillar chassis for installation of the IWT, which is confirmed by the incoming requests for industrial enterprises for the chassis supplies similar to MT-forehead forms or higher.
However, in the context of the restriction of allocations allocated for the Ministry of Defense for the purchase of equipment, it is currently not even the restoration of the chassis resource in the troops. A small state order for the overhaul of MT-LB cannot satisfy the existing needs even in the foreseeable future. The overhaul of MT-Luba is generally entrusted to non-core enterprises-consumers chassis under the installation of the IWT (example - state order of OJSC "Motovilikhinsky plants" on the 2C1 coaront, including the basic chassis).
At the same time, work on the plant factories is actively working on promoting the market for cars of a similar class in the interests of the national economy, construction is carried out on the results of their real exploitation, but the results of this work remain unclaimed. In particular, on the Rubtsovsky Machine-Building Plant since 1995, the tracked conveyor truck conveyor GT-TM has been serially produced in its time. Over the past period, the design of the machine is worked out according to the results of operation in different climatic areas. For the approval of the changes made in the design, it is necessary to make two prototypes and carry out typical tests, but the factory's repeated offerings have not yet been received by the factory.
Experienced design work on the creation of basic chassis VGM light categories by mass, which are currently held, will receive real implementation only after 5-8 years and, moreover, they will require a set of measures to prepare the production of new machines, so today it seems to be relevant to consider The use of the existing scientific and technical nearest enterprises of industry.
Rubtsovsky Machine-Building Plant is now ready to cooperate on this topic in the following directions:

Step 2 Cooking the foundation.
Collect the gearbox by the attached instructions. Cover it to the site. If there is no platform cut from plywood 4 mm rectangle 53x80 mm and secure on it reducer. We take Phaneur 10 mm. For control, we will use Arduino Nano. DVR 883 engines driver. We collect everything according to the circuit board.

L1 - inductance coil and C1 are needed to stabilize the ARDUINO voltage. Resistors R1 and R2 before motors - current-limiting, their nominal must be selected for specific motors. These two details can be made from almost any material that is at hand. It may be thick cardboard (which can then be coloring), DVP, thin plywood or plastic leaf of any color. Do not forget about the batteries. We glue them to bilateral tape on the right metal part of the foundation:

Here we will need our billets on the second scan. In 3 mm holes insert bolts with a half-cylindrical head 3x20. We put on the washers and screw the nuts.
