Warranty on a new car
The new cars of the ŠKODA brand bought in the Russian Federation are provided with a 2-year warranty without a mileage limit from the date of sale of the car by the official dealer of ŠKODA AUTO. The date of sale is fixed by the official dealer in the service book.
C 01.08.2014 For the ŠKODA Rapid car produced in the Russian Federation, a new option is available - 3 years warranty or until a run of 100,000 km (3 years warranty / 100,000 km).
When this option is purchased, the standard warranty conditions for the ŠKODA RAPID car are replaced by a warranty operating within 3 years or until 100,000 km of the total car run from the moment the car is transferred to the first buyer, depending on what has come earlier.
This option is part of the equipment of the car and can only be purchased when ordering in the production of a new car from the Official ŠKODA AUTO dealer as an additional option (PR code EB3 - 3 years warranty / 100,000 km).
Requirements in the framework of the guarantee acquired as the above option 3 years / 100,000 km are considered only on official dealer enterprises of the ŠKODA brand located in the Russian Federation.
The warranty applies to any faults that have arisen the fault of the manufacturer, and is provided by any Official ŠKODA dealer.

Warranty on Original Details and Accessories
The original parts and accessories purchased from the official dealer are provided with a 2-year warranty without a mileage limit from the moment of buying the part or its installation in the official ŠKODA dealer network. On the original parts installed during the warranty (free) repair, the warranty applies to the end of the main warranty on the car.

Corrosion warranty
on the Fabia I generation models, Octavia Tour, Superb I generation - is provided 10-year warranty from end-to-end corrosion without mileage limit.

Important Notes:

  1. The above warranty obligations do not apply to parts subject to natural wear, for example, clutch disc clutch, brake discs, brake pads, incandescent lamps, wiper brushes, tires, filters, etc.
  2. All warranty claims lose force upon the expiration of the warranty period.
  3. With regard to faults declared, but not eliminated during the warranty period, warranty obligations are preserved until they are eliminated if the repairs delay have been associated with the expectation of the necessary details.
  4. ŠKODA AUTO is not responsible for the additional guarantee provided by the Official ŠKODA dealer, which goes beyond the conditions of this warranty.

Exceptions from warranty
Warranty claims can be fully or partially rejected in cases where a malfunction on which a claim is brought directly related to one of the following circumstances:

  1. incorrect operation or car overload (for example, use in races or rally, driving training, etc.);
  2. the car was previously subjected to unqualified repair or maintenance, the result of which came the failure of the detail, the vehicle of the car, etc.;
  3. fuel and lubricating and other consumables that are not recommended by ŠKODA AUTO;
  4. details were installed on the car, unaccustomed to the use of the companyŠkoda AUTO, or were produced by a non-astounded car change company (including tuning);
  5. the owner of the car did not declare a defect noted during the supply of a car, or a defect identified later, and did not require it to eliminate it, which resulted in the emergence of more serious damage;
  6. full or partial immersion of the car into water, resulting in corrosion damage;
  7. failure to comply with the rules of ŠKODA AUTO, concerning the operation, maintenance or car care, and in particular, failure to comply with regulatory work on maintenance prescribed in the service book;
  8. the failure of the engine parts, an exhaust system or the engine power system due to the use of fuel that does not meet the recommendations of the company ŠKODA AUTOI (or) RF standards.
