Views of the plant from the side of Gagarina street

Here, from the swamp, there are good views of the city.

And a little to the side of the plant are some ruins of the Soviet period

And a few more views of the plant from the side of Kalinin street

You can often see new buses near the factory, and if you're lucky, one of the first to see a new model.

The history of its origin goes back to 1933, when it was decided to build a timber chemical experimental plant for the improvement of wood "LOZOD". In 1935, the plant produced: insulation boards, lignoston bars, pressed wood and products from it. Since 1945, the plant became known as the Likinsky Machine-Building Plant (LiMZ) and produced: electric stoves, sleepers, motor vehicles, winches, mobile power plants. In 1946, the plant employed more than 1,100 people.

Since 1959 the plant starts assembling passenger buses ZIL 158 and becomes the Likinsky Bus Plant (LiAZ). The annual production in 1959 was 213 buses, in 1963 - 5419 units, 1969 - 7045 units. at the same time, the development and testing of a new, improved large city bus was carried out. It was LiAZ-677. an experimental batch of which was manufactured in 1967. For 25 years, more than 200,000 LiAZ-677 buses and its modifications have been manufactured: city, northern, sightseeing, suburban, gas-cylinder, mobile television station. In the fall of 1972, the LiAZ-677 bus received the Gold Medal and the First Degree Diploma at the Leipzig International Fair. In 1975, production was brought up to a design capacity of 10,000 buses per year. In 1976, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, the plant was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. In 1982, the development of a project for the technical re-equipment of the LiAZ plant for the production of LiAZ-5256 buses began. In 1985, the beginning of technical re-equipment; at the same time, the production of buses in small batches was started in the shop of small batches. Serial production of large city buses LiAZ-5256 will begin in 1990.

From 1991 to 1995, the plant was characterized by a significant deterioration in performance, which resulted in an economic crisis and a halt in production in 1996. A bankruptcy case was initiated and in 1997 external management was introduced, followed by bankruptcy proceedings. However, the procedures were carried out in such a way that the territory, property of the bus plant, its production activities are preserved and today Likinsky Bus LLC is a modern enterprise with the technology of mass production of large city buses using advanced high-performance technologies that ensure the production of products that meet the current European standards. The territory of the enterprise is 630 thousand square meters. Production area 172 thousand square meters

Since 2000, new models of city buses have been developed, taking into account consumer demand, and the production of especially large-capacity city buses LiAZ-6212 (articulated), suburban LiAZ-5256R has begun; Since 2005, the serial production of low-floor city buses has been carried out. In 2000 he entered the Russian Buses company. Since 2005, it has been a member of the GAZ automotive group. In the 21st century, new bus models were developed and began to be produced: the low-floor LiAZ-5292 and LiAZ-5293, the articulated LiAZ-6212, and the current articulated and low-floor LiAZ-6213. trolleybuses LiAZ-5280, LiAZ-52802, LiAZ-52803 were developed on the basis of the buses produced. Since December 6, 2007, the plant has produced the first trolleybus entirely produced at the enterprise. It is planned that this line will produce 500 trolleybuses per year with the subsequent possibility of increasing the capacity up to 1000 units per year.

In 2012, an overground was built near the plant crosswalk(the only one in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district), local residents immediately dubbed it a new attraction, although such a transition is not unique, I saw exactly the same ones in Vyshny Volochyok

And several views from it:

In April this year, a new museum was opened in Likino-Dulyovo, which is dedicated to the Kudykinskaya volost. Initially, they wanted to dedicate the museum to Kudykina mountain, which is located just 2 kilometers from the museum, but then the creators of the museum decided to expand the theme to Kudykinskaya volost. In this museum you can learn about both Kudykina Gora and the history of the city of Likino-Dulyovo, as well as here you can learn about interesting places in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district. ENTRANCE TO THE MUSEUM IS FREE !!!

The museum consists of 2 rooms. The first presents antiques and old photographs.

The second hall houses the Soviet exposition.

And also in this hall there is a stand on which crafts made by children at master classes are presented.

If you wish, you can buy a small souvenir here))

Museum address: Moscow region, Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, the city of Likino-Dulyovo, Kalinin street 3a.
Working hours: Mon-Fri from 10.00 to 16.00 Saturday and Sunday day off.

There are also interesting corners in the courtyards, for example, in the courtyard of house 7A on Kalinin Street, the "Agitploshchadka"

And not far from this place (unfortunately it was not preserved) near the bakery there was such an interesting nesting doll. By the way, the most magnificent bread is baked at this factory, there is a shop at the factory ;-)

At the city cemetery there is a monument to those who fell in the Great Patriotic War, in total, in this small town at the moment there are 5 monuments of military glory, 4 of them are generally accessible, but according to my information, the local authorities want to remove 2 or 3 monuments, to replace them a memorial was built near porcelain factory. So for example, as far as I know, they want to remove the monument in Victory Park, and the park itself to re-qualify as a park of culture.

Behind the monument there is a little-known Church of All Saints.

In 1999, the rector of the St. John the Theological Church, Archpriest Oleg Penezhko and the mayor of the city V. N. Tyutyunkov, laid the foundation for the Church of All Saints at the cemetery in Likino-Dulyovo. Funds for the construction of the temple were allocated by the city administration, and the walls and roof were created by the community of St. John the Theological Church.

Behind the cemetery there is a railway and a platform of 122 kilometers, the platform is active, but electric trains are not often here.

And now we will talk about a very unusual place. In the Moscow region there are quite a few unique corners of nature, both natural and anthropogenic origin. In the Moscow region there is a desert, waterfalls, caves, Kudykina Gora, but in this amazing place there are real rocks. This place is located near the city, to get here you need to go through the city cemetery and cross the railway. On the way to the place where the rocks are located in the forest, there are steep ravines, by the way, an excellent place for fans of extreme bike riding, but I will ask the climbers to roll their lip back, the rocks here are small, the highest are about 2 meters in height. Personally, this place reminds me of Crimea, only in miniature. If you do not know the real origin of this place, then you might think that it is of meteoric origin, as evidenced by the relief with a bunch of ravines and one large crater in which there is a small lake Chernomorka (where this name came from is unknown). But in fact, everything is much simpler, in the 80s sand was mined here.

Well, since we got out of the city, here are some views from the village of Kabanovo

In Likino-Dulyovo you can find a transport that is quite unusual for the Moscow region, which for several years has been delivering workers from Likino-Dulyovo and Orekhovo-Zuevo to the TONAR plant in the village of Gubino and back. There are three such buses in total on this route.

Pochtovaya street

The estate of the merchant Shelukhin:
Little is known about the estate. It was owned by a merchant by the name of Shelukhin; before the revolution there was a tavern in the basement. In Soviet times, this building was a post office, which gave the name to Pochtovaya Street, and then the police, now there is a large hardware store here, and a grocery store in the basement.

Behind the merchant Shelukhin's estate was the Likino railway station, where the old railway connecting Orekhovo and Kurovskoye passed. Photo from the museum.

Remains of this railroad can still be found on the outskirts of the city.

Near the quarter of Mira streets, there is a small pond. Pond "Porcelain" is a fire reservoir of about 50x25m, it was cleared and expanded after a forest fire in 2010, then the fire could not be extinguished in time due to lack of water. Now it is a good place to relax, the water in it is clean, as long as there are no algae or fish, the water has a bluish-green tint due to the high content of clay. Its banks are steep and slippery due to clay, the depth is sharp.

Likino-Dulyovo is a small town near Moscow, in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, in the east of the region. It is famous for its porcelain factory, bus factory and palace of culture.

Dulevo Porcelain Factory. The largest in Russia. Founded by famous industrialists Kuznetsov in 1832.

Likinsky Bus Plant. Everyone who lived in the USSR drove LiAZs. Unfortunately, there is no museum at the car factory. The plant is now part of the GAZ group.

Palace of Culture of the Porcelain Factory. This is the only building of the constructivist architect Melnikov outside Moscow.

Take a closer look at the city

Church of St. John the Evangelist (completed in 1917), architect Scherer.

There is a bell tower at the temple. Young people are mastering the profession of a bell ringer.

Constructivist polyclinic. Built in 1934.

It seems that the city has changed little over the past half century.

Judging by the style of the posters, we are in 1987. How is DDT doing? "Indian tea, Bashkir honey."

Likino-Dulyovo is generally a quiet and pretty town. People come here for dishes. This is one of the folk crafts.

Let's turn our attention to Dulevo porcelain

I wonder what the Likino-Dulevites wrote to their descendants in 1982?

Former owner of the plant.

The factory's trademark is the white falcon, although if you don't know, you can mistake it for a dove.

And this is how it looks on the brand. Black spots on the bottom indicate violations in the process technology, but the prices are also low here.

In the company store you can buy tableware of the "Red Cross" series

Or a plate with cartoon characters. In my childhood I had such a plate with the characters "Well, wait a minute!".

You can buy cups with a Suprematist pattern for 20 rubles. Greetings to Melnikov!

Or you can have a napkin holder for 9 rubles.

The choice is great.

The prices are low.

Although ... But who needs a boy for 25,000 rubles?

But something tasteless costs some crazy money, I wonder who buys?

The factory, once a supplier to the imperial court, slipped into the production of consumer goods. It is possible that the interesting porcelain is kept in the museum of the factory. But the museum is closed on Sundays. Fortunately, the city museum has its own collection of Dulevo porcelain. It even has the opportunity to drink tea with a guide from Dulevo cups.

You can read background information about Dulevo on our website.

Likino-Dulyovo is a glorious working town on the western border of the immense Meshchersky region. The birthplace of the unique "Russian miracle", one of the emblems of our boundless Russia - Kuznetsov porcelain.

The history of the city of Likino-Dulyovo is clear and reliable only from the middle of the 19th century. His earlier fate is very vague.

It is known that in time immemorial, along the Klyazma and the Nerskaya rivers (namely, on the border of the watersheds of these rivers, the modern city of Likino-Dulyovo lies), one of the most ancient transport arteries passed, along which Meshcheryak settlements were formed - this was the name of the ancient people who inhabited these places ... Scant mentions of the villages of Likino and Dulevo are first encountered in the chronicles of the reign of Ivan the Terrible. And the territory on which both inconspicuous villages were located, with the change of Russian tsars and emperors, visited both the Vladimirsky district of the Moscow province, and the Senezhsky, and later Pokrovsko-Slobodsky volost, and was even part of the Kudykin volost. (So this is where the famous "Kudykina Gora" was located!) With the birth of the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo, Likino and Dulevo became part of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district, and since 1930 both villages have been united into one settlement called Likino-Dulyovo. City status the workers' settlement Likino-Dulyovo acquired already in 1937.

The origin of the name of Likino-Dulyovo has no generally accepted scientific justification. The most common versions of the origin of the first part of the name are from the surname Likin (a famous robber under this surname allegedly once ruled in the vicinity of the village of Likino), and the second part of the name, according to legend, came from the name of pears "dulya", which grew in abundance in local gardens and famous for their special taste and aroma ...

Despite the formal unification, the villages that became part of the city of Likino-Dulyovo were divided by a forest ridge. Over time, the forest was cut down, but the conditional division remains to this day: depending on which side the modern inhabitants of Likino-Dulyovo live on today, they call themselves Likins or Dulevo residents.

The heyday and truly worldwide fame of Likino-Dulyovo was brought by the native of Gzhel Terenty Kuznetsov. It is here, in Likino-Dulyovo, that a talented entrepreneur, the future “porcelain king”, and in the recent past, a gifted self-taught peasant, transfers his porcelain production from Gzhel. Together with Terenty Kuznetsov, the new production is being mastered and developed by the most outstanding masters of fragile beauty.

By the beginning of the 20th century, Kuznetsov's porcelain factory in Dulevo became a leader in Russia and one of the first in Europe. Kuznetsovsky porcelain, admittedly by experts, is distinguished by its impeccable technical implementation and exquisite beauty. From now on, Kuznetsovsky porcelain is an internationally recognized symbol of luxury, wealth and sophistication. Today, one of the main and indisputable attractions of Likino-Dulyovo is the magnificent vast exposition of historical Kuznetsovsky porcelain which is located in Likino-Dulyovo Museum of Local Lore.

The traditions of the pre-revolutionary Kuznetsovsky factory, which, along with ceremonial masterpieces, produced bright and elegant tableware "for everyone", today continues and develops the Dulevo Porcelain Factory. Classic products of modern Dulevo craftsmen from sugar bowls, teapots and rusks to "grandmother's" gilded sets - the most bought Dulevo souvenir! A souvenir that brings you back to childhood ...

The name of A.S. is associated with Likino-Dulyovo. Smirnov, an outstanding manufacturer, entrepreneur and well-known philanthropist. Following his concern for the workers, Smirnov creates a grandiose ensemble of a real factory town around the new Likinskaya weaving manufactory. He builds buildings of brick barracks for workers, a tavern shop, a hospital, a school, and opens a church in the village of Gora. Today, some of the preserved barracks and the stone building of the former Likino weaving factory, built in 1870, are the architectural landmarks of Likino-Dulyovo. Actually, the modern city has grown around the former weaving factory of Smirnov. Now, on the territory of old Likino, one of the giants of the domestic auto industry is located - the former LiAZ plant, and now the Likinsky Bus LLC.

The distance from Moscow to Likino-Dulyovo is not so great - 80 km. And a one-day excursion to Likino-Dulyovo is a real touch to the origins of the amazing Russian craftsmanship.

History

The appearance of the villages of Likino and Dulyovo is associated with the times of Ivan the Terrible. According to other sources, the village of Likina was first mentioned in the census books of the church lands of the Vladimir district in 1637. Then there were only 4 courtyards in the village. Scientists associate the name "Likino" with the words "icon, face".

In 1832, Terenty Kuznetsov, a wealthy peasant from the Gzhel volost, bought land on the Dulyovo heath near the village of Likino. Kuznetsov founded a porcelain factory at this place. One of the legends says that next to the wasteland there was also a forest, which was looked after by a forester, Ivan Dulyov. Allegedly, it was from him that the place began to be called Dulyovo.

In 1930, Likino and Dulyovo merged into one working village. On December 1, 1937, Likino-Dulyovo received the status of a city.
