Whatever this operation, we will need an observation pit. How well, that I have it. Previously, when it was not, I didn't go to the neighbors that would be allowed to pick up in your car, but now everything is much easier.

By turning the car to the observation pit, I determined that rubber sleeves were worn on a cross-line. Now and let's start work.

The first thing to do is to remove the transverse reactive traction. I took a brush on the metal and thoroughly cleaned all the threads on the bolts from the dirt and processed the WD-40 liquid.


Now that everything is ready for us, I unscrew both nuts without much difficulty.

Before us was the following test, it pull out the bolts. Why is the test? Because if the gum is breaking, then moisture is hung between the bolt and metal sleeve and corrosion begins. This all leads to the fact that under the influence of corrosion, the bolt sticks to the bushing and pull out the ego sometimes it is simply not possible.

In my case, I was very lucky, and the bolts went very easily. The left bolt came out perfectly, but the right robust in the lower glass of the spring.


The photo shows the above where the bolt rested. To pull out the bolt, you need to load a little scrap metal into the trunk or ask the comrade to press a lot of the car. Thus, the bracket drops a bit down and the bolt can be freely pulling out.

What to pull out the rubber sleeve, we need to knock out a metal internal clip (sleeve). Running in a drawer with tools, I found a suitable copper. I do not know what it is, but approached just. In my opinion, this is a tool for punching holes in the wall, such as an ancient perforator :).

Instead of a stop sleeve, I used the holder for large dies (which threads are cut), and for extrusion, applied a conventional metal round with a diameter of 25 amlimeters.

I bought new rubber bush in advance. I did not strive to buy expensive and branded bushings, because the usual go rather for a long time. Of course, you can buy expensive self-stabilizing, but I took simple.


We proceed to the installation of the sleeves of the jet VAZ 2107.

That the bushing easily entered the clip of the jet thrust, it must be smeared with soap. Then we install the sleeve and reactive craving, as shown in the photos below.

And now, the most important task remains. We need to press the inner metal sleeve.


I made this bullet from an ordinary bolt. I accidentally turned out to be a lathe, and I just pointed the bolt's hat, but it can be drowning with sharpened.

I definitely do not remember the thickness of the bolt, but, in my opinion, 10 millimeters. This bullet is inserted into the sleeve and looks like this.


Lubricate the bullet with soap and then, the principle, as before, we crose the sleeve.


Everything calmly goes to his place, but since the bullet is installed in the metal sleeve, it will not reach the end, because you will be treated in the cheek of the vice.


Now we need a stand, in order to annoy the sleeve. I used an inch clutch, it just came up in size.

By laying a coupling, we annoy the sleeve.


After all the above works, it turned out such a result.


If the inner metal clip will perform a bit from some side, you need to make it possible to pose with a hammer.

And here we can only set the craving on our place. Do not forget to lubricate bolts by nigrol, there is never anything to be gum.
