The festival will open the "Battle of Minds" children's blitz tournament, which will continue the Soviet chess traditions. Exactly 70 years ago, the first Moscow blitz championship took place in Sokolniki Park. Then, in 1947, the winner of the tournament - the future international grandmaster Yuri Averbakh - won a new bike. And this year, under the guidance of an experienced coach, schoolchildren will compete for the SHULZ city bike. Required for the tournament.

From the Rotunda stage to the Sand Alley, the Antique Flea Market will stretch, prepared by the House-Museum project. The master class from the famous collector Elena Krenzel will be a real journey into the world of vintage and antiques. Elena will share the main secrets of her craft and give recommendations on how to choose antiques on her own and distinguish genuine things from fakes. Registration for the master class.

Until the evening in the Garden of Astronomers, the interactive playground "Games of Our Childhood" will be open, where sports master classes for children will be held. Children will be able to see modern analogues of old games: bilboke and serso, learn to ride a unicycle, play classics and jump over rubber bands.

In the gazebo of the Garden of Astronomers there will be an area with board games, where adults and children can play chess, checkers, dominoes, as well as old pre-revolutionary games. The most active visitors to the interactive platform will have the opportunity to compete for prizes.

The main event of the holiday will be the competition of retro-costume "Defile in the Park" on the stage "Rotunda". Contestants will parade along the main square of Sokolniki Park, accompanied by a brass band. Festival guests will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of several eras and appreciate the outfits that the participants have been preparing for almost 2 months. "Roaring" 20s, "strict" 40s or "free" 70s - who will win? The winners of the competition will receive valuable gifts from the sponsors of the festival.

The brass band "Valery Bukreev's Jazz Band" will perform at the celebration, playing popular melodies of past years. Visitors to the park will have a rare opportunity to plunge into the world of authentic acoustic jazz - music of the twenties and thirties of the XX century.

On the stage "Rotunda" there will be a dance master class, which will show the popular movements of the 1950s, teach you how to improvise independently and move in pairs. The retro dance floor will be open until the evening, so everyone will have time to enjoy the rhythms of the past.

"Oldtimer Gallery" is the largest exhibition of vintage cars and antiques in our country, which has been held since 2002.

This time, the exhibition will host the Motors of Victory military-technical festival, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. The festival will bring together dozens of museums and historical reconstruction clubs. Many unique exhibits have been removed from the museum's storerooms and restored specifically for this event. The triumphant symbol of the Great Victory is a complete collection of seven ceremonial convertibles, first assembled in one hall at the stand of the Special Purpose Garage. The significance of these magnificent swift "steel horses" in the history of our country can hardly be overestimated: each of them, from the Stalinist ZiS-110B to the modern "Aurus", is an absolute and priceless relic.

The organizers of the exhibition decided to mark the beginning of the "twenties" with a retrospective display of outstanding cars a century ago. Viewers are invited to travel "forward into the past" - from 2020 to the 1920s. In just four days, one of the pavilions of the exhibition will turn into car salon the heyday of Ar-Deco. The central alley will house a dozen of respectable "motors", embodying the luxury and splendor of the last "gallant era". The atmosphericly decorated hall, in which literally everything, and the magical stained-glass windows in the Tiffany style, and the warm illumination of the exhibits, and tastefully selected jazz music, and designer mannequins with designer costumes in the modern style, and even authentic smells, will immerse the viewer in a space of impeccable harmony and light nostalgia for the "good old days".

It is known that the rarest and most interesting oldtimers are bought at auctions. Now you don't have to go abroad for this: for the most discerning collectors, the Yegorov Auction House will hold a unique auction on the last day of the exhibition. "Under the hammer" will go not only unique cars and motorcycles, but also items of technical antiques, usually preserved in a single copy - the coveted objects of the "hunt" of gambling collectors. Starting prices range from several thousand to tens of millions of rubles.

Despite the huge number of rare and unique fire trucks at the Oldtimer Gallery 2018 exhibition, as always, interesting and not yet completely forgotten civil automobile rarities of private Russian restorers and collectors were presented.

Recently, in Moscow's snow-covered Sokolniki, an annual automobile exhibition of unique and rare vintage cars "Oldtimer-Gallery" took place. The exhibition has been held since 2002 and each time the organizers come up with some interesting theme for the event - its exhibits are almost never repeated, these are always loud premieres, automobile sensations and amazing surprises. This time a special exposition is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the fire brigade of the USSR.

The jubilee exposition of fire fighting equipment at the Oldtimer Gallery gathered under one roof almost all the fire engines that have survived in central Russia, and those samples of equipment that have not survived to this day can be seen in the same hall, at the exhibition of photographs "Fire Type". composed of rare and unique archival photographs. The history of domestic fire-fighting vehicles is reflected both in the retrospective of the covers of the Fire Department magazine, covering the period from the 1920s to the 1960s, and in a unique collection of fire-fighting posters.

#oldtimergallery2018 # victories20 # retro car # fish-eye # victories72

23.
Well, who remembers this off-road M-72?

24.
From the M-20 "Pobeda" for this car, only the outer body panels and the supporting body frame were taken, which was modified and additionally reinforced.

25.
The features of Gas - 69 can be traced even in this body

33.
The appearance of such a Porsche in Russia is a gift to those who love these cars.

34.

40.
The family of four-wheel drive "Muscovites", created in the late 1950s by designer Igor Gladilin, became a kind of "presentiment" of the future "Niva" - a light SUV allowed for sale to the public. Unfortunately, things did not go further than prototypes. The prototype "415C" was made in a single copy and will be shown to the public for the first time.

50.
GAZ-24 Volga (1977)

51.
It is difficult to find at least one person born in the USSR who has never driven a Volga in his life. These are memories of youth, life stories, travel and taxi rides.

52.
GAZ-24 is a real "time machine" that takes us back in time with its slightly petrol aroma in the cabin and the unique "Volgovskiy" roar of the muffler, unmistakably recognizable from thousands of others.

53.

The very first model with the index 2101 was produced for 18 years in various modifications- their total production amounted to 4.85 million vehicles.

55.
Moskvich-400-420A (1954) A variant of the "Moskvich" with a body type unusual for our country, called "cabriolimousine". This term denotes a body with an open top, but with sidewalls and door frames, although in everyday life the open "Moskvich" was called a convertible. However, Soviet motorists were in no hurry to acquire them due to their obvious impracticality in the climate of most of the country.

56.

57.
GAZ-AA (1935) At the exhibition, it was possible to start and listen to the engine of the legendary GAZ-AA car, the famous semi-lorry - a truck from the Nizhny Novgorod (in 1932), later the Gorky Automobile Plant, with a carrying capacity of 1.5 tons (1500 kg), known as a lorry.

Like many of its brothers in the highest automotive society, the Packard brand has not survived to this day, but left a good "legacy".

60.
And here is our artist. In a few hours he wrote this beautiful Seagrave Model 6WT (1927). In my opinion, it is very beautiful.
