    - I unscrewed the seats from the sleds (2 bolts each from the front and rear of the seat) but could not pull out the sleds themselves !!!

After that I took it off the last row seats, removed the runners, and with thin metal plates in 4 places on each side grabbed them pointwise by welding. (After the conversion, the plates were easily torn off and removed. Welded attachment points are not visible). Further, in the same traffic police, he filled out an application, as it seems to be called, with a request to re-equip my car, left copies of the TCP, STS, Passport, driver's license. The traffic police gave me several commercial organizations to choose from, which have the right to issue conclusions. Having chosen the one that is closer, I came to them, paid it seems 2,500 rubles and received a conclusion within 1 hour. At the same time, no one has looked at the car. Then back to the traffic police, from where he received a referral to undergo a technical inspection for re-equipment. A checkup came, where within 10 minutes they put all the necessary checkboxes on me. Then I returned to the traffic police, from where they sent me everywhere and gave them the documents I received. Considering the fact that I got into the traffic police in the midst of the "perestroika" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the kind inspector sent me to receive an opinion in another unit, at the Main Internal Affairs Directorate. I don’t remember the exact name, in the Varshavka area outside the Moscow Ring Road. I arrived there by car, left the documents in the right window, an hour later, an uncle policeman came out, opened the trunk, looked inside, said he wanted "the same", and after 20 minutes I received the same long-awaited conclusion. After that, back to the district MREO, where I was given a new STS and made the necessary entries into the TCP, INDEPENDENTLY, 1 hour and 20 minutes after submitting the documents. Everything. It remains to make a technical inspection ticket for the cat. B. Here my strength has dried up.
    The total cost with all taxes cost me about 5000-7000 rubles.
    I fiddled with this question for about a month due to lack of free time. If you do it closely, you can do it in a week. Most of the time will be spent on what the traffic police would understand in paper matters.

    Now in detail about the dismantling of the seats:
    for this operation you need the following set of keys
    - an asterisk, it seems to be at 8 - it is the most basic. Buy a quality key!
    -head 17, preferably with a ratchet
    -key for 10
    -key 12
    -simple screwdriver, preferably wide
    Further in the photos:
    1. remove 4 plugs from each seat in order to unscrew the seat mounting bolts.

    2.Using a 17 head and a ratchet, unscrew 4 bolts from each seat.

    3. This is what it should look like. The last 2 rows of seats have been removed in the cabin.

    4.Unscrew and remove with a screwdriver the plastic cover of the runners from the side of the trunk.


    5. All the mounting bolts of the runners, except for the front ones, have been unscrewed. The front ones are simply weakened.

    6.Lift the runner and slip some object under it so that the runner is suspended.

    7.Using keys 10 and 12, unscrew the metal plug and remove the bolt. The runners are free.


    8. Move the sled from the front to the rear and remove them from the runners.

    9. Install the runners in place and fasten them with the star bolts.
    10. Repeat the operation with the second runners.

    It took me about 1.5 hours to dismantle the last row of seats. At the same time, I did not know what to turn and what, and also carried out a photo report in parallel.
    F / N: If there is a need to close the runners for conversion, then the runners will have to be removed completely. At the same time, freeing the rear part from the plastic casing. For retrofitting, I advise you to use welding, and not rivets, as some advise. For the traffic police, a metal plate the width of the runners is enough, and the length is about 35-40 cm. It is better to grab the plate by welding along the edges, while putting another 3-4 fake points for seriousness). Welding is not visible under the plastic casing and the plates look quite neat. Whoever does not need the last row can then ride with them, and if necessary, you can easily pick them out with a screwdriver and hammer, which I did)).

Many Grand Stareks owners have standard configuration instead of single passenger seat(front) - one and a half. This is a kind of seat that has the ability to move forward / backward and takes up all the space from the right door to driver's seat... In the middle of this one-and-a-half "sofa", there is a reclining armrest that can be placed in an upright position. If necessary, a third passenger can be seated in this seat.
