Installing a new filter:

1) Install the new filter in the position in which the old element was located (the arrow on the filter will help you, it shows the direction of gasoline movement).

2) Connect the gas line, do not forget to check the branch pipe for breaks before doing this. If it is damaged, then it will have to be replaced.

3) Reinstall the fuel pump fuse and connect the terminals on the battery.

4) Start your car. Most likely, this will not work on the first attempt due to the deflated pressure in the fuel system. Leave the ignition on for 30 - 60 seconds, then try to start the engine again.
